My month has been a ROLLERCOASTER!!
I came of meds at the beginning of August, too. I know the exact feeling of waking up! My main trouble coming off anti-depressants has been my new-found bad temper (worse at certain times of the month!) Luckily my son and OH are both mild mannered so they take it all in their stride.
Aside from two toddler style tantrums, I have churned out lots of crafty projects and started cooking and baking again, which I could never be bothered with when on meds... Plus I'm getting more exercise, which is no bad thing
This month has disappeared quickly and been really expensive. I decided to buy a new phone (thanks for your help, ladies) but also had to buy a new washer dryer as mine has finally given up the ghost...as has OH's laptop, so he has bought himself a Chromebook.
And September has been quite upsetting because my son has been bullied at school by an older boy, luckily we have nipped it in the bud (I think) by speaking to the school. Fingers crossed it's over as he hasn't had any problems this last week...
The super happy news is that my niece was born last week(still no name) She is healthy and gorgeous
so that puts all the other ups and downs into perspective!
funny hearing this from you & Kristina.....
My doctor doesn't push for anti depressant because I explained very well why I don't want to take them...my depression comes from very , very down to earthy facts, no chemical unbalance or anything of the sort, so taking even more medication than I take already had never been an option.....
but sometimes, when I get to different clinics for the different conditions, lots of them press for me to take them...and some seem to think I am thick on not wanting to take them...
but for what you are saying...am right on not wanting them?
aren't anti depressants suppose to make you feel better and want to do more stuff?
LOL
I'm glad to hear you girls are getting out of meds.... and doing great stuff as it seems!!!!!
I did Cognitive Behavioral Therapy when I was at my worse.
Stuff for another post all together, I'll get myself together to post
