I thought it would be fun for us to list 4 or 5 goals for the month. I always find that posting them online holds me a little more accountable. Maybe we can cheer each other on.

Here are mine:

1. Do all 7 of the September challenges here (and preferably not be finishing them up on the last day).

2. Do the Art Journaling challenges. I love art journaling and I can't wait to see what Dalis has in store for us.

3. Finish unpacking...seriously, it's been 2.5 months...I shouldn't still be living out of boxes.

4. Stick to the budget that I've created for us. We need to buckle down and get serious about saving and paying off debt if we want to buy a house. I have to remember the end goal.

5. Tackle paper...already paper has taken over our household. It's always been a constant struggle with me and I really need to get it under control (we spent 30 mins yesterday searching for the manual for our fridge before we found it...sheesh).

So those are my big goals...what are yours?

1. SURVIVE. Hardest month of the year, waiting for "The Mentalist" while the weather gets worse. Yes... I'm weird.

2. Finish all seven challenges from the TLP challenge board! I totally want it! I can do it!

3. Study more with my kids... especially my eldest daughter needs a little support, I need to make more time for that.

4. SPEND LESS FOR SCRAPBOOKING SUPPLIES! Last month, I again landed a little OVER my budget- this month, I have to keep it!

5. Read more books- I've been pretty negligent with my reading, and I need it to improve my English!

6. Finish my current story... and don't start a new multi-chapter all month (nonono! I'm done for the summer! only short one-shots until October!!!). Takes so much time, so I really don't want to do another one.

Well... that are my goals!

Always good to set goals!

1. I am starting a T-25/Shakeology challenge on Sept. 3 - so I am hoping to complete that fully and lose some weight and be healthier.
2. Find more time to scrapbook
3. Be on my phone less - like quit playing mindless games like solitaire and stop checking facebook and instagram constantly out of habit.
4. Try to do the TLP Photo-a-Day for at least 20 of the 30 days!
5. adjust well to the new school schedule!!!

love lists and goals!

1. make it to Gym an average of 3 days a week
2. email my mom 2-3 times a week
3. Have more people over for dinner and fellowships
4. Take my daughters shopping
5. Go hiking more

1. Start walking. My kiddos start school on Tuesday and I am hoping to walk them most days. And if we don't walk to school, then I'll walk once they are on the bus - either around the neighborhood or on the treadmill.

2. Lose weight. Hopefully this will come as a natural result of #1. I've been working on changing some eating habits, but it will be easier to focus once everyone is back at school.

3. Sew my curtains! We've been in our house for a year now and still have only a few window treatments. I am a good sewer, but it is so much more fun to scrap than sew. ;)

4. Start a knitting project or two. I used to be a voracious knitter before kids, and while I am okay with not having knitted much in the past 7+ years, I miss it. :) That one can wait till October if needed.

Next month when the gig is up I'll start on the goals like pay more attention to my family, have home cooked meals on the table at a normal dining hour, etc. heehee.

There's always been one goal for me ... and that is to start my lazy bum in the exercise routine. A simple routine of treadmill and/or jogging round the block will do.

I have a gym next to my office. I have a running track outside my home. But I am just too darn lazy. I used to jog on both the treadmill & running track in two of my previous jobs. BECAUSE I have partners-in-crime. But now I have none.

I had been PLANNING to go to gym on Friday so that I have the weekend to nurse it. But there are so many times tat it clashes with my boss' Friday mtgs *roll eyes* And that goes the same with my girls'-night-out. So that is put aside ... until it became out-of-sight-out-of-mind.

Then a few wks ago, I sprained my neck so unable to sit up for too long. So my sb-evenings w/my lappy were reduced. Then it hit me, if I survived the withdrawal syndrome, I can use the free time jogging round the block. But when Mr Cable started dating me, again that idea was put aside.

So now ... I am back to nowhere ... haiz ...

1. clean out my bathroom drawers/cabinets and line them with new contact paper
2. find a contractor to build custom shelves in my living room (my birthday gift to myself :))
3. pick a gym to join--and actually go!

My September goals are to:

1. De-clutter at least a few closets.
2. Bring old books to the bookstore or donate to goodwill.
3. Advertise and sell off some paper scrapping supplies. Don't think I'll use 95% of what I have. Love digi too much now.
4. Do some meal planning. Being low carb/gluten free can be challenging.
5. Organize my kitchen.

Have fun :D it's my birthday this month and I'm going to be with my family in India after 7 years! Leave this Saturday - so my only goal this month is to have fun ! :D

I really should do goals more. I am not one to actually write them out and keep track... they just sort of dance around in the back of my mind and hope to be remembered... pretty sure there's never been a success-focused book written where THAT was the goal strategy :giggle

So for this month:

1. Call my dad
2. Get my pile of stuff sorted and taken to Goodwill or another donation site
3. At least 4 weeks of Project Life - it might not be 'getting caught up' but at least I won't be falling further behind.
4. Finish painting a shelf I've been working on for waaaaaay too long because I keep forgetting about it!
