As you know, this month we will be working something a little bit different. I'll give you a couple of options on how to do the 4 week challenge. OPTION #1: I have made templates (in PSD, TIFF and PNG formats) that you can follow, or OPTION #2: You can go with your gut and create your own. It is not a complex template but one "main placement".

Let's reveal this month's Art Journal Challenge.... We are going to create WORLDS. Yes, every week you will create a portion of a WORLD (if you use the template) or you could create your own ENTIRE world if you choose to go without the use of template.

WEEK #1: YOUR PAST WORLD

WEEK #2: YOUR PRESENT WORLD

WEEK #3: YOUR FUTURE WORLD - Ok, If it makes you feel better I haven't had time to work on this one yet. I am a bit furious with me, because I know exactly what I want it to look like (maybe that's my problem).

WEEK #4: YOUR DREAM WORLD - Go which ever way you want, let's talk dreams, forget the laws of physics or anything that stops this dream from coming true... make it happen in your page this week. Maybe it's about that hot TV star or maybe even about living in the moon. I am extra giddy about this week's challenge.
MUST HAVE ITEM: I need to see a transportation vehicle in your dream world. How are you planning to arrive to that amazing world you just dreamed about. Is it by boat or hot air balloon, maybe a rocketship or a sports car? Maybe your transportation vehicle is part of your dream.

This page is JUST for inspiration purposes and WAS NOT made for this challenge. While I was typing this challenge I remembered about this page and I thought you gals might get a kick out of it.

Of course this week we are giving you another piece of the template (ok, I know I goofed up and you got the entire template last time, you just need to open the folders for all you TIFF and PSD file users).

Here is a view of the BOTTOM RIGHT of the template, this is the last piece of the puzzle.

I love that page!! LOL and I always had a crush on Pierce Brosnan ever since Remington Steele, too. I thought it was really a shame that they wouldn't let him play Bond back then. He was supposed to...but I loved him as Bond when he did play him. Ah...memories.

I am really excited for this weeks challenge and to see what you have up your sleeve for next month!!

Thanks so much, Dalis!! :)

Oh wow..this is going to be a toughie!! Sorry I couldn't make the chat again this week Dalis but it was changeover again for one of our holiday cottages.....no time for playing I'm afraid on those days!

YAAAY !!!! I had just finished my 4th World. Will upload it after leaving some :heartlub in the gallery.

First of all Dalis... thank you so much for keeping the Art Journal challenge going. I really like the idea of the different worlds.
So I have to explain the method to my madness...
When I started the challenge i had placed everything for the 4 challenges in the 4 corners. When I went looking for a quote about worlds I found the one on my page and my idea completely changed. I found this amazing book paper from my Michelle Godin stash and rearranged everything to fit. So there you have it. It's last minute, bc I ended up scratching my first one and completely redoing the whole concept. Thanks for helping me think outside the box!!

Ladies, if you haven't finished you have literally a couple of days. Oct 2nd 1pm EST is your due date for this! I am loving all that I am seeing here and in the library. I'll go and leave some love!!!!

YAY!! I finished!! This one was really a challenge for me...I am really glad that I was able to get it done. :)

Probably not what you had in mind at all but I totally took inspiration from the challenge for this page. This was actually a really tough piece for me and it was everything I could do not to cover it up with ten tons of paint...lol. Words are hard sometimes.
