Senior Photos

Lovely photos! I love outdoors shots!

I have a silly suggestion.... a noise machine that plays different silly sounds or one of my faves (I get it's not always appropriate but I ask beforehand).... a fart gun. I don't know anyone that doesn't laugh at it. It's from Despicable Me: Minions. I have used it for pics when I take occasional ones of friends or kids. Instant laughter and smiles. You have to give them some time to calm down though cause they will laugh so hard.... but then you can just mention farts and get smiles. To this day, my Dad will get tears in his eyes from laughing so hard.

My son is not much into picture taking, but he really wanted to have a chess set in his senior pictures. It really got him engaged with the whole process and the pictures really turned out great even though they aren't super smiley. It also helped to have comfortable clothes and someone who didn't rush. I need to add that I did not take these pictures - we had a professional photographer do it - she is fabulous! She actually doesn't do senior pictures anymore but came out of retirement because she had taken pics for 2 of our older kids =)

I want to thank everyone for their tips and help. Chase's senior session went smooth and we got some smiles! he loved golf and brought his clubs so we got some golf shots as well. It was a great day
