Day 5 - Imperfect Photo

My photo is imperfect because of what it failed to capture. Darren was getting set up to pose with Jedi Mickey, when Darth Goofy totally photobombed them! I tried to get the camera up in time, but wasn't quite fast enough, so all I got was a blurry Goofy in the background.

Day 24 - Do Over

I chose a paper layout that I have never liked- I made it for a sketch challenge knowing it didn't fit my style, and it just never worked for me.

I've since started scrapbooking in 8.5x11, so I changed the format. I kept it as a double-page layout, removed a few photos that were unnecessary (I had them on the original just to fill spots in the sketch), and used a pocket page on the right. The new layout is much cleaner in design!

Day 23 - Photo Treatment - Double Exposure

I combined two fireworks photos into one composite image. I've seen this done before and LOVE the effect- so happy that I learned how to do it myself in this challenge!

Day 31 - Pocket Page

This challenge fit nicely with my personal "war on inserts." I generally try to include too many photos on a page, and this was a great reminder to pick just the highlights! The word "highlights" can be found right above my dates in the bottom left-most pocket.

Day 11 - Scraplift:

I have adored Tronesia's designs for years, even before I was a digi scrapper!

I picked this layout from her gallery:

And here is my take on it:

Day 17 - Title Work

I used Acetate Alpha 2, The Branch, and The Sarah fonts by Heather Joyce and the alphas from the Make It Happen Add On to the January 2016 Storyteller.

Journaling that contains spoilers is blurred out, so you can read without worry. :)

Day 10 - Extraction With a Twist

The extraction is tiny in this image because it is a two-page layout, but it's the mail photo that is in the second middle pocket on the left page. Let me know if you want me to also upload the pages separately so they will be larger. :)

Day 21 - Filled Up

The confetti scatters touch both the left and right sides, and I have gold thread tangles touching the top and bottom. :)

Day 6 - This Is My Song

My song is "At the Sound of the Beep" from the album "Life with a Laser Cutter." I took inspiration from the image by using music/recording themed elements, but being a good child of the 80's, I felt the need to use a cassette tape instead of vinyl. :)
