hi there!!
I'm looking for some recommendations on apps to help with scrapping on the go!!
I have SOOOOOO many photos and try to jump on PSE as often as I can to scrap but with 3 kids (2 ASD) I end up doing the MOC and not much else

Then I thought- if I could do some every day scrapping on my phone while waiting for appointments, passenger in the car etc, I'd get through so much more and be able to use PSE for the bigger events!!

I have iPhone and hoping there's something I can use saved png files and kits through Dropbox as I already have ALOT of scrapbooking stuff and don't really want to rebuy

I've checked in the App Store but there's not many with reviews and some are not clear as to what they can/can't do

Thanking you in advance!!!

I did a vacation album last year with Pic Stitch and found it really easy to use. I have the pay version (it is cheap) and they continuously give you free layouts.

It's fine working with Dropbox, you can create drop shadows, rounded corners, adjust the white frame around photos... you can change the layouts by changing the size of photo boxes. To be honest I find out much easier to use than the PL app. You cannot journal in it, but you can open the collage in another app to journal if you like. I added all my journaling later on my PC as I don't like to write lots of text on the phone.

I am not sure about how .pngs turn out. I only used photos and cards that were .jpgs, but I believe that the same company has another app that complements Pic Stitch and I think you can add .pngs with that second app. I think it is called Letterglow.

Thanks Rikki!! Ill check it out :D

I participate in a facebook group for app scrapping... this group is more heavily focused on the Project Life app, but many other iOS apps are mentioned. I use android...
But I just posted in another thread asking recently, too. While the other thread was started for android apps, many of the links, blogs and info I posted will be helpful on iOS as well.

Hope it's helpful!

Letterglow and Over seem to compete with each other as far as I can tell on the iOS platform, but there are many others as well.

Thanks for all the advice!!
I downloaded and played with a few things and so far have found this to work for me:
- drop box to save scrap kits I've already purchased. This saves me money and means items are available for me to use as png
- little moments app to crop paper to journal card size
- Phonto app, open journal card, add items which keeps them in png format!!! I can also save fonts to this app so am not restricted to the ones in my app.
I can do shadows, change text line spacing, it's quite good and free too!!

I plan on using the above to make my journal card sections to then combine on the project life app to make pages

Perhaps I'll find an easier way but for now I'm really happy!!

I made this all on my phone!!
