Scrapping budgets

At one time I was trying to budget my digi spending by at the start of the month purchase a Gift Certificate for say $30 and that was what I used for purchasing that month. I must get back to do that as it was a good way of keeping a track on what I spend.

I don't have a budget but I have recently decided that I need to use more of what I have instead of buying new. I even have actually started using multiple kits on a layout (I have always been a kit scrapper) .

With that being said; I have money set aside each week for my hobby and if there is something I must have then I buy.
 
According to my dh, my budget is $0! ;). I'm trying to use what I have but it is hard to not buy pretty kits.
