Probably just the week I'm having for I'm feeling seriously uninspired. Thank goodness for the gallery. I'm feeling better as I peruse my faves. Time to do some scrap lifting. How often do you scrap lift LO's?

I love to lift pages...I actually go and save them to a file in my scrapbook, and will open it right next to my new canvas....sometimes my final page looks completely different, other times...meh...
one thing I enjoy doing is to look at paper pages...and try and digi-lift them...it makes me feel superior too...hahaha see look no glue kinda neenner neener

I usually don't scraplift digi pages unless it is a challenge here. But I do love to lift paper and try to see what I can do with it.

I don't do it very often because on the lazy scale, a template ranks higher than a lift, though if I can't find a template to meet my needs, a scraplift is my next choice.

I have to admit I tend to go for templates when I'm un-inspired, I love the scraplift challenge and sometimes I see pages I really really want to lift...I may get eventually to do it...but (and this has to do with another thread I wanna post in buyt havent had the chance) IO think it kinda makes me go a different way as to what my own creativity dictates...
like I have been besoted with blank space LOs and I find myself reducing the size of things, when I actually want the photos to be the most important part of the page....not sure how to explain...
but having said that, with the awesome talent in the galleries here...there are more than I can count that I would love to lift....

When I'm losing my mojo I go for the templates as well...instant creative power. ;)

hmm... I hardly scrap lift.. or do templates.. My brain is just weird!! It doesn't like following something ..so it kinda turns out weird when I scrap lift!! Well.. when I'm mojoless, I get away from the laptop for 24 hours!! Or I do art journalling pages to express what I'm feeling at that moment.. the reason I am mojoless is because of the stress that I go through in life!!

I don't scraplift as often as I want. I have like 10 pages in my scraplift pipeline. LOL!!!!

when I first started, I scraplifted a lot...then as I've gained more experience I scraplifted less and less. I still go to other LOs for inspirations, but pick and choose what pops out at me and put a bunch of ideas together. This month, I think the only scraplifting I did was for the challenge =)

I look at the gallery and pinterest for inspiration, for a starting point....I might see a color palette I like, or a design element I like but then I start a page and just let my creative side (what there is of it LOL) take over and do its thing. There are lots of bits of info in my head from perusing other's pages and I'm sure they influence my thought process for putting a page together but I wouldn't say it's scraplifting per se.

THIS!!!
I mostly use templates, so I rarely lift... mostly when I do challenges, where it is a welcome change. My mojo problems are mostly connected to just getting started... I chose my stuff, have the empty page in front of me, know what I would like the finished layout to look... and just can't make the first step because I'm scared I could bungle the whole thing.

I find it difficult to start a scrap-lift. I dunno why. I generally start out with a photo and a template. I don't usually work a composition without one-when I do, the result is meh.

Ditto for me.. Ama- you may want to look through a magazine.. when I go on a plane I look at the free plane magazine and sometimes they have some real good ads to get ideas from. This month I had a burst of energy in the mojo.. I think I am up to 45 pages!- (must be all the coffee!!) But I too will walk away from the pc and read a book or watch TV when I am plumb out of ideas.

:dizzyInquiring minds... What is meh?????????????????????????:headscratch

:rofl re: your definition of "meh"!

I use it as a totally non-committal not-quite-a-word sound. LOL.
