I'm beginning to finally feel that Christmas spirit. I still have tons of stuff left to do, but I'm not feeling so overwhelmed about it. So in honor of next week's impending big day here are some more getting to know you questions.

My mom's (great-grandma's recipe) homemade butter tarts! YUM!

Last winter... for shame since I was a figure skater for 12 years....

How late will you be up Christmas Eve?
Way past midnight since I have to work until then... I'm also on call so I'll probably be up through the night.

Favorite Christmas Carol? i think it changes every time I answer this question... Martina mcBride's O Holy Night get the most answers though so that must be it.

When was the last time you went ice-skating? when I was home one christmas from college, and trying to stand up on the skates had me in TEARS from the PAIN it caused my ankles. OY! I'd hate to think about doing it NOW, 20 (20-some) years later

How late will you be up Christmas Eve? Oh it will totally be 3 a.m.

Favorite Christmas Carol? Silent night - sing it to my daughter at bedtime this time of night.

When was the last time you went ice-skating? Oh boy - it's been a while - we used to do it on our pool in the winters when we were younger. I really should try it again!

How late will you be up Christmas Eve? Probably pretty late - we have our party at my parents with my family and then after we get home and get girls to bed we will have to get everything set out in the stockings - my guess is 1:00am.

Last year on a double date, they set up and outside one downtown this time of year

Not to late we are traveling home that day, church, dinner and Christmas movies

Once in Girl Scouts when I was around 10. I hated it and have never done it again.

Hard to say, really. DH and I do all our wrapping on Christmas Eve while watching The Bishop's Wife, It's a Wonderful Life and The Bells of St. Mary's.

Depends on how much wrapping I get done before then. I married into a family that goes crazy at Christmastime. There are no words to describe it.

I'm not that into Xmas food... we live in a tropical country and the traditional Xmas food is too heavy... but I'd say maybe cake (Panetone) with ice cream.

Ohhh it was so long ago I don't even remember...

How late will you be up Christmas Eve?
Very late... we will have the whole family together (more than 40 people) and it's such a happy fun crowd that we will be up til the booze ends
