So what do you do on a typical Saturday night? Do you do family events? Have dates? Get together with friends or just hang out in your jammies relaxing and binge-watching movies or your favorite tv shows?

Hang out with family and watch netflix/movies. If we are not home, then we are out to a movies, some event - but always with family :)

You made me giggle @AllisonPennington !

My Saturday nights depend on whether it's a work night for DH or not. We have no set schedules. Tonight, we put munchkin to bed and went for a walk around catching Pokemon, and chatting. Now we are sitting next to each other on our own computers. Yep, oh so glamorous!

Sometimes we're getting home late from an all day hiking trip. Otherwise it's a stay-in-and-watch-tv kinda night. Today we actually got back around dinner time so we finished watching Stranger Things on Netflix. That show!:thumbsups

Last night hubby and I watched Game of Thrones. (We're in season 2 right now)
If it's date night, the kids are at my parents, we usually go do something. But otherwise, we are on our own computers. I'm scrapping, he's either doing homework or playing some game or something.

I actually scrapped a page (sort of, and it wasn't at TLP) about how my Saturday night around Christmas time was watching planner videos and doing crafts. Lol!

We usually go out to dinner on Saturday night and then come home, change in to jammies, and spend time on our computers while DS watches his YouTubers on the tv in the living room. We may all watch a movie or something before bed. A little different this week and for the next few weeks because we have football games on Saturday evening. Not sure what the rest will look like, but last night I stopped and picked up pizza and we watched movies the rest of the night.

Normally we just veg cuz we were busy during the day, but last night we actually went on what I call our "seasonal date" (cuz 4x per year is about our date-night average).
DH and I need to be better about doing something on a Saturday night, even if it's just playing a few rounds of Boggle. We've gotten into the habit of just turning on the TV and vegging to the point of extreme laziness. It's not relaxing: it's being a zombie until bedtime. Since we don't have family to babysit (hence the infrequent dates), we need to get into a "date night in" routine where at least once a month we make a concerted effort to put the kids to bed and have dessert and wine together or something. And then play Wii like the mature adults we are! :lol

Last night we watched TV . . . American Pickers with Daniel and then we watched a couple of episodes of The First 48. I finished a book I was reading and did some photo organization and scrapping while hubby and Daniel played computer games together.

Most of our Saturday nights are low key, because we go to 9:30 service on Sunday mornings. If I end up doing a lot on Saturday, unfortunately, I'm too worn out to do anything the next day, much less early in the mornings.

Saturday nights for us usually just us hanging out at home... Saturday night is my scrapping night once the kids are in bed. Shawn and I will watch some Netflix while I scrap & he's usually on his computer doing work.

Lame. I know.

But Friday night is movie and ice cream night with the kids & Sunday night is typically date night for Shawn and I. So Saturday is just sort of in between.
