Run out of gas? | Pad Patter 10.3

Um.... you guys may have almost jinxed me! I had a zillion errands to run yesterday before I took a one hour drive to an Apple store to get my iPhone screen replaced and I didn't even pay attention to how low I was on gas until I got on the highway and there were NO gas stations for miles! I was seriously on fumes when I rolled in the gas station and the whole time I went between being mad that I was going to be late for my appointment and laughing that at least I could come here and tell everyone about it. Lol!

I did in my teens. And then once in college. The first time,as a teen, I was so close to home, so my Dad came and saved me ... but at the price of a hefty lecture! It didn't happen again until college. I was riding on fumes for awhile and wasn't overly familiar with the route I was on, but was desperately trying to find a gas station - no cellphones with google maps/navigation back in those days! I was lucky enough to run out at the top of a highway overpass, so I coasted down the hill .... and literally rolled into a gas station that was conveniently located at the bottom of the overpass. I was SO lucky! This was NJ where you do not pump your own gas. I remember the guy working at the station coming out to help me and asking if I just ran out and rolled in. We both were crying with laughter. That's it just those two times - but I will never forget them!

Ha, Jenn. This. At least the first part. I've only run out once and it was in my teens, close to home and I went in someone's house and called my Dad to come help and probably received the same lecture you did!
