Am I the only one who gets to the end of a really good book and immediately wants to start it all over again? It's an obsession I think, and it is STEALING my time!

I just need to know I'm not alone in this. Anyone?

I totally do the same thing! I force myself not to. Normally if I start another book it goes away. Then if I have the urge to reread it again later, I just give in and go for it. For instance, I loaned my Hunger Game series away, and I just got them back. I have been dying to re read them, and now I will, I have read at least 6 other books while waiting for them. :)

I love to re-read too. Lately though I've had so many good books on my "to-read" list that I've been doing less of it. :)

I am not a re-reader. I did re-read the first 3 twilight books while I awaited the (slightly disappointing) 4th one but hadn't done again since. BUT I've been wanting to re-read the fever series and I really should just do it already and get it out of my system because nothing has seemed really all of that good since I read those and I've read a bunch since then :dizzy

see i just finished rereading the deathly hallows for the 2nd time (with about a year+ gap), and got to the end this time and wanted to start right over again. i made myself put it away. i started reading something new tonight, plus i have the 1st of the fever series on my kindle waiting to be started. so maybe that will get it out of my system. i doubt this will be my last Harry Potter read-through though.

I rarely re-read but I like the suspense of not knowing what is going to happen. I usually will only re-read if it's been long enough that I've forgotten a lot of the details. I'm weird like that though, LOL!

I'm not a re-reader, but I will tell you that I just finished book 5 of the Fever Series in one sitting...yeah, I know...and I can't wait to get started re-reading them!! I L.O.V.E.D those books!

See...this is what I'm afraid of! I KNOW that nothing I read for a very long time will come close to these books! Anyone know when the next series "set in the Fever world" will be coming out??? I'm on pins and needles!

I used to do this ALL the time when I was younger. I was a speed reader then and could do a book a day. Those days are LONG gone, so I just add it to my list to reread again when I have time.

I re-read quite a bit. Not right after I've read it the first time usually, with some notable exceptions. I have a few favorite books that I re-read every few years.

I have had to ban myself from re-reading because I have too many unread books on my shelves! LOL! I have re-read all the Harry Potters and Twilight books several times as well as my Jane Austens and my Sookie Stackhouse books. I listen to audio books on my way to work and have re-listened to the Hunger Games books as well as several others.

This is me too! I've re-read the last Harry Potter novel, but only because I speed-read it first time round and wanted to go back and make sure I hadn't missed anything :giggle

I re-read too... a lot of books actually. When I LOVE them, I`ll keep them and then I have time to re-read. The craziest re-read I had with the Twilight-books... I just couldn`t get enough of them and so I started over and over again... and since I couldn`t wait for the 4th part in german, I bought the english-version... and re-read it too *heehee*

I've reread all the Harry Potter books prior to the movies coming out but I am actually rereading my first non Harry Potter book right now. Michael J Fox's Always Looking Up. If that book doesn't give your perspective, I'm not sure what will. I highly recommend it, especially if you are in a difficult time in your life.
