Hi. I'm trying to decide which plastic pages to get. I'd love to hear from others how they decided which stlye page protectors to go with. Do you find it easier to work with an assortment or just use one or two styles? For those of you that did this before did you find that some styles worked out better than others? I'm open to getting either the Becky Higgins ones or WRMK ones but I want to stick with one or the other for consistency. Also I was wondering if the plastics will ruin the photos over time? I'd love to hear your feedback. Thanks solo much! You ladies have already been so incredibly helpful! Have a fabulous day! Best wishes, Roni

I'm going with Becky Higgins plastics Design A (which should be back at Amazon next month)...I also bought Design D and E for a little variety, but I'm going to mostly stick with Design A. I also bought some random 8.5x11's, horizontal 5x7's and American Crafts 6x12...for extra little inserts that I might have throughout the weeks. I still want to get a 12x12 and one with 4 square pockets so I can cut them up and sew them to different sizes. I like to have a lot of extra little inserts of different sizes in mine! :)

I only have 3 weeks of experience :), but I'll chime in anyway. I am using the big variety of protectors from Becky Higgins. I like it so far. One advantage of using just one design though is that you can get more stuff ready in advance. But it's not a big issue for me, and I like variety.

I wish I had the variety pack, but I only have C, E, and I believe F. I've found that I don't really care for the ones that have all 4x6 pockets, so I usually divide those up with two cards, so that some of them look like smaller pockets. I'm going to grab some Design A when they're back in stock (hopefully). I also want some design G to use on weeks that I have extra photos or a special event. :)

i've also been using becky's pockets. i think i'll probably mix in some We R Memory Keepers pockets as needed. i also like the variety of different sizes and different layouts.

I've been doing mine all digi so far because I'm waiting for Becky's to come back into stock. I wanted mine to be a mix anyway, so that's ok. I'll use mostly A because that will fit most of what I'm planning to do, but I've bought some D's, F's and I might get another as well so I'll have a variety. I'll buy the big pack of A's though.

I'm new to PL too and I took a while to decide what I was going to do. In the end I'm going all design A for my PL 365 album. I realized that I can make my pics & journaling work w/A but if I have too many to choose from I know I'll freeze up. Plus I figure once I get the hang of laying out the weeks it will only get easier. I think I'm going to get some 6x12 inserts for any larger memorabilia that I have.

I'm also doing a separate album just for my regular 2011 pics. I think I'm going to use mostly A for that but will order some D or G for my vertical pics. To confuse things more I actually own some C & F b/c those were the only ones in stock, that I felt I would use and I JUST HAD to have something to work with while waiting for amazon to restock! Lol

I have A, D and G. I liked the G for the mixture of horizontal and vertical on the same sheet and because it was a little narrower than the standard pages so you could put tabs or something on the outside edge. I also got a few set of the 6x12 with the three horizontal photo spots for weeks with lots of photos I can't bear to leave out.

I use Becky Higgins Design pockets F, 12x12's, and I also picked up these from We R Memory Keepers. I'm waiting :waiting for the popular A's to come in and I'm going to grab some of those, too!

So far I have started with A. I think that is the easiest one to do. I have 6x12 and 8.5x11 to use as inserts in the middle of the week and I like that they are smaller and tucked into the week, if that makes sense.

I'm going to try to get some G when they come back in stock. It would be nice to use a big vertical photo occasionally.

ITA about the G, and I love the tab idea. I had the same idea for the 6x12 but I'm going for the one slot to fit bigger stuff and I figure I can always mount extra 4x6's on paper to use it that way if I want.

You have all been so helpful. I haven't made a definitive decision yet but I know I will be using more than one style. I'm going to go have another look at them and try to make up my mind. Can they only be purchased on amazon? Thank you all so much!
