I was checking the weather before heading to bed, and this is what I saw. Seriously? It's too cold to even walk the dog to the bus stop!

Do you ever have extreme weather (hot or cold)? What's the worst you've seen in the last few months?

Brrrrr! I finally gave in tonight and put flannel bedding on our bed. We don't have much snow at the moment, but it's been super cold. Bundle up and stay warm, Heather!

We had very cold weather the last weeks here in our part of Germany. And snow.
Now it's getting warmer, but sooo fast...At the weekend we had about -5 Degree Celsius (23 F) and on Thursday we shall have +17 Degree Celsius (63 F)!!! That's crazy and I suffer headaches. I prefer it warmer, but this is too fast!!

its 100.4 F here with 80% humidity at 6.44 pm and I have no fans or power *sigh*

I wonder what it would be like to be that cold Heather ... I cant even imagine it!

Wow! And I thought -14 was bad! And that was just at night, around-4/7 in the day for a very short spell

Stay warm and safe xxx

I'm a desert girl, and those numbers seem like they are from Siberia!! I am a bit like a lizard...I would be hibernating, til spring?
and when you have a dog in these places??
what do you do? I mean that is like go outside and you are playing freeze tag for reals?

It was 77 degrees in my house last night (outside temp got up to 72 degrees) and I was complaining. It's January in Kansas. I don't really want to have to turn on my fans to cool down my house in January.

This morning a cold front is coming through and we've already hit our high for the day. It's just going to get colder. Yesterday my afternoon class (pre-K) played outside with no jackets. Today we'll probably have indoor recess because it's going to be too cold to go out. Kansas weather is crazy.

Wow! We've never been below 0 - in the single digits though. And it's been up to 110 in the summer.

Wow, Heather! Stay warm! I moved south specifically to get away from major winter weather, but even the worst where i grew up were nowhere near that cold.

It hasn't been too extreme here recently. For January, it has been freakily warm and humid the last couple of days though. I like the warmth, but the humidity I could do without. It's at 80% humidity right now and 70°F and the sun's not even fully up yet. Looks like there are some scattered storms due to come through today that should drop things back down to normal.

I feel for you my fellow-Canadian friend!! ((hugs & hot chocolate))

We get both extremes here in South Dakota - it can get up to 105+ in the summer and this last week we had -20 F with windchill. And tomorrow it isn't supposed to even hit 0. :rofl

I hate weather. I think the only place I'd be happy is San Diego. Somewhere around 70-80 all year.

Oh, on the dog thing - our Boxer, Gus, hates the cold. I have to usually walk WITH him outside so he will pee. He has booties and a jacket although we haven't used them much. :D His breed doesn't do well in extreme temps either - his short nose makes it hard to breath in the heat. So he stays comfy in the a/c.

I know its crazy Heather! We are staying home from school today and drinking hot chocolate and watching a movie!

Wow. If it were that cold here I'd probably just pack up and head to Australia to live with Amanda. :p The coldest it's been here recently was last week when we had a few nights where the temps got down in the teens. During the day it warmed up to the mid-20s (F) though, which is at least a little better.

Now, THAT is cold! A few winters ago we reached down to -18 C here, but that's the coldest I've experienced. This winter we've had down to -12 C at night, but today we had +7 C. Felt like spring lol

Stay warm and enjoy a nice cup of hot chocolate!

We're having crazy weather this week in Indiana.

It's 60 right now... and supposed to snow in the next 48 hours. :dizzy

Thats cold! We dont get that cold around here, not lately anyways. But I get cold when its just 60 degrees. Stay warm.

Holy cow Heather! That is scary cold! We had a week hovering around 10°F, but now today it's almost 50°F and feels like spring again.

Wow, Heather that is COLD C-O-L-D. Yikes. I bet you are counting the days until Spring!

The weather here in KC has been completely nuts. Yesterday, it was 74 degrees, breaking a high that was set back in 1916. Today, the temperature has dropped down to 44. It's been storming and we're under tornado watch. It's going to snow later tonight. Cr-azy!
