Re-imaged two PC's this weekend . . .

My daughter's PC has been having horrible issues, so this weekend, I finally bit the bullet and re-installed Windows on a "spare" PC, to make sure I figured out what I was doing. And since that went reasonably well, I've done hers too. Ate into my scrapping time a bit, but hopefully it takes care of the issues she was having.

Wow! Good for you! I rely on my hubby for that stuff these days. He seems to enjoy it and as you said, it would eat up all my scrapping time, so I let him handle that stuff! Hopefully your daughter will be all fixed up now and you can get back to scrapping!

So far, they are both operational with software and apps re-installed. No data transferred back yet, but that should be the easy part. My husband is ecstatic to have a "hand me down" laptop that doesn't have somebody else's "leftovers" on it. And, I was able to catch back up on MOC by scrapping while stuff was downloading and installing . . . feeling a little lucky.

I envy you having someone to take it to. I only do it because there is no other option (other than taking it someplace, and I wouldn't know who to trust).
