Ugh. It is raining here again... or maybe I should say it just continues. It seriously seems relentless lately. We've had 15.59 inches of rain since the beginning of November, and we are already two inches ahead of normal in December (with two weeks to go). Even with the drought we had for the summer/fall, we are way ahead of normal for rain (5+ inches more than average) this year with time to go. Insane.

My back yard is turning into a lake. :giggle My daughter works at Snoqualmie Casino (40 minutes away), and she had tons of snow at work yesterday. I think I'd prefer that to the rain. Even if it could just stop when I need to go outside, I'd be happy. :giggle

What is the weather like where you are? Can I live vicariously through you?

I am a desert rat. I love the sun, I love the blue bright skies, and after a few (3) days of cloudy, I am cabin fevered!!
It is 52 and clear as can be here, the skies are bright brilliant blue, not one cloud in them.
I sit here listening to my boys and the neighbor kids run up and down on the sidewalk on scooters and laughter reigns. Tonight, the cold will roll in, hitting 25, but not one ounce of moisture. I will slather up the lotion on everyone and me, and enjoy the fire.

not much better. we are way warmer than usual but with a layer of thick grey clouds for days ... i miss the sun and imagine it would be even warmer if the sun was able to peek out a bit. i want to hang in anne's hood until april!!!!

hope the rain chills for you kimberlee!

I couldn't live in that area. Spokane is bad enough as we get your weather just not as much. We finally have snow. That always seems to help me. Grey rainy days just get me feeling grumpy.

Sure, you want some snow? It was pretty and white, but it's getting to the icy and melty and brown color. We are supposed to get a second storm the beginning of next week. Which will be great because that means it has to warm up to snow!

Kimberlee, I feel your pain. I do NOT miss the rain, rain, rain of the west side! I'd tell you to head east, but the passes are closed, and we're socked in with fog today anyway!

we have clear blue skies, and it's in the low 30s. Still waiting on the snow, but I'm beginning to think the snowflake is a mythical creature.

It is sunny and in the upper 30s here. I wish it would stay that way but I heard we are going to be in the 70s on Xmas day. sigh I was hoping to wear one of my new sweaters but we may be turning on our AC.

I love hearing about everyone else's weather.

Speaking of mythical snowflakes, have you seen Val Wibbens' snowflake pictures?? They always blow my mind and make me wish for snow.
