Rad Lab is 35% off now...And I will buy it!!

I love editing photos, applying filters/b-w/sepia.
English/American Actions are not working with my German Photoshop:cry, that's the reason why I bought Lightroom. With Presets the language is no problem and they work fine.
But I don't like that I always have to open an extra program...

Now I downloaded the Trial Version of Rad Lab and it's perfect! It's integrated in Photoshop AND works with my German Photoshop! The effects are beautiful.
It's expensive (also with the 35% off), but buying tons of Presets is also expensive...:whistle

I love Rad Lab. I was a reluctant convert, but now it's all I use (besides my auto-tone in Lightroom)

RadLab. BEST thing that ever happened to my photos.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for pointing this out! I just picked it up. I have Nik Software too, so I love the style of plugin, and now I can play with the cool RadLab filters, too! Fun!

Oooooh, enjoy girls!! Money is too tight for me to swing it this year, but maybe next Black Friday!

oh my gosh - thank you soooo much for posting! i was reluctant to buy it b/c i have soooooo many PS actions - but wow, i LOVE it!

RadLab is so awesome that I don't even use my PS actions anymore!

Don't forget to check out the Recipes page for all the free user-submitted stylettes! I've found some of my favorites stylettes in there.

Man I wish I could grab it!! But it would still blow a lot of my Christmas budget. I had the trial and loved it...I am going to have to pick it up one of these months.

So if one were new to RadLab, and you use Photoshop CS6, which product do you buy there to get the most bang for your buck?

RadLab is the product, it is made by Totally Rad: http://www.gettotallyrad.com/radlab/
RadLab is a plug-in for photoshop. Basically, you have a photo open in photoshop. You click on RadLab, and it pops open a separate little program within Photoshop where you edit your filter. RadLab allows you to apply filters/actions to your photo and instantly preview the results before you actually apply it. Plus you can easily adjust the filters and apply multiple filters. It's a great program!

I also HIGHLY recommend Nik Software's plug-ins. I have the Complete Collection and I use it on almost every layout! It's similar to RadLab, in that it is also a Photoshop plugin where you apply filters/actions and can adjust them and layer them, but you have much more control because you can also apply them selectively to parts of the photograph:
http://www.niksoftware.com/products/usa/entry.php I love the skin softening filter for perfect portraits!

If I were going to get just one, I would get ColorEfex Pro (it's the most comparable to RadLab)
http://www.niksoftware.com/store/usa/entry.php?view=singlepurchase/CEP4-family.shtml. But it is pricey, and frankly, if you're going to spring for it, it's a huge value to get the Complete Collection with all of the plug-ins (Sharpener Pro, ColorEfexPro, SilverEfexPro for black & white photos, Viveza for AMAZING selective edits, HDR Efex Pro to make High Dynamic Range images even from a single photograph, and Dfine for noise reduction). If you use Aperture or Lightroom you can get the Aperture/Lightroom edition, which is cheaper than the one for Photoshop.

RadLab is awesome...I don't use it as often as I used to because I picked up a different workflow (it's not nearly as easy as using RadLad was though and I miss that) but it's totally worth the money! Enjoy ladies!!!
