We all have them - so what's yours?

I hate anything orange flavored - but I love clementines. It makes me sad that they're only in season for about a month - and I eat enough to last me a whole year during that month.

When I eat candy (not often anymore) I have to leave one of each color/flavor for the end.

When I have mixed up foods (like soups, salads, casseroles, etc) I have to eat thing individually. As in first I eat all the meat, then all the corn, then all the noodles, and so forth.

It drives John crazy.

I can't sleep if I haven't shaved my legs. It catches on the sheets and makes me batty. I've jumped out of bed at midnight to shave before.

I won't eat meat that is touching a bone. No ribs, no fried chicken, etc.

I can't handle the closet doors being open in our room while we are watching tv. I swear all I can see is the inside of the closet, no matter how neat it is, and can't focus on the TV. I have to get up and shut them so I can focus on the show.

I'm sure I have a ton more, I'm an odd bird, and I'm only getting odder now that I'm over 40. :giggle

I don't have any quirks. I'm perfect. Or at least that's what I keep telling my hubby. :giggle

I HATE tomatoes, but I LOVE tomato products...ketsup, marinara, stewed tomatoes in soups.

And I don't like my food to touch on my plate and have to eat one thing at a time, unless it's a salad, and even then I sometimes will eat all of the meat before I eat any thing else. lol.

OK - so I think I've let this odd quirk out of the bag before, but I have a real OCD problem when it comes to my butter tub. It has to be completely even across it. So when my kids dig into the butter tub and make it all uneven and crazy I get stressed out! Have no clue where I got that from, but my hubby knows he needs to keep it real for me!

my food can't touch.

i have to have the dishes washed before i go to bed.

i have to do things in the same order when getting ready or else i feel 'off' for the whole day.

there's tons more, but i don't wanna seem overly weird lol

I buy groceries in even numbers. I'll get to the checkout and realize I've bought two of everything not meaning to do it. every.single.time.
Whenever I see big words, I try to see what else I can spell with the same letters.
I don't like pepperonis, but order pepperoni pizza and then pick them off because it tastes better than just plain cheese. (my dog loves me for this)
I cannot stand to look at or touch a previously wet washcloth or dishrag. I feel like I can see the bacteria on them.

I'm sure I have a lot more quirks, but don't want to come off to weirdo either :giggle

oh my!!

I'm that way with strawberries Shannon. I love them, but NOTHING strawberry flavored.

I have to sleep with my pillow...I travel everywhere with it and can't sleep if I don't have it.

I have to put lotion on my hands and chapstick on my lips before I go to sleep.

I have to have a room temp water bottle by my bed...just in case!

My food doesn't touch, either, and I eat it one thing at a time.
I have to have all the drawers, closets, doors, etc. closed in the house.
I close all the blinds in the house when it even looks like it might be dark soon. I can't stand thinking abt someone being able to see in at night.
I have to sleep with some type of blanket on, but one of my bare feet has to be sticking out from underneath.
I hate driving 'with an audience' e.g. any other adults in the car and will do almost anything to get out of driving. It doesn't bother me if I'm just driving DD around.
I'm always asking DH and SS to turn the TV and radio down. My ears are super sensitive, and I keep the TV at almost a whisper.
I keep as few icons on my desktop as possible. I also empty the Recycle bin at least once a day and have to immediately unzip and organize my scrap downloads.
When I read an acronym, I always pronounce it in my head like it's a word rather than just saying the letters.
I'm always analyzing the commercials in between TV shows and will comment on the wording, the music, the fonts they use, etc.

I can't stand things blowing.... as in curtains blowing in the wind, balloons blowing around, wind chimes, swings, Anything like that. Literally it makes me sick to my stomach.

At work a few years ago they tried to hang these cutesy sayings throughout the building from the ceiling as an employee motivator. Within an hour I was in the bathroom throwing up because most of them had been placed directly underneath the air vents. We have over 500 people in my building and I'm pretty sure everyone knows I was the cause of the short demise of that promo.

That doesn't bother me, but the toast crumbs in it damn near send me over the edge.

Also, I feel like Debra's soulmate today.

HATE strawberry flavored stuff, but love the fruit itself.

And I take my pillow with me when I travel.

And I have a tube of Cherry Chapstick just about everywhere. One in the night stand, one in my desk drawer, one in my gym bag, one in my car, one in my purse, etc. Must have.
