January 21: Hunt for Happiness (Random)

My journaling reads:
NOTHING is better than a day spent at Disneyland for it is where I can always be a kid again, forgetting everything else that life has thrown my way. It has always been my happy place, especially when I get to spend it with one of my kids!

January 24th - Pieces of Us. (Photography Challenge)

Journaling:
File this under: The Things We Do For Our Children
Let's get two things clear:
- I'm not a morning person.
- I'm not a person who enjoys being cold. Give me the heat of Summer anytime.
But here I sit, rink side, working. It's 5:45 am and it's freezing in here. Never mind the layers I'm wearing and the wool-lined boots. I'm still cold, cold enough to grab the blanket. And why am I doing this? Because of my daughter. To bring her to the rink early mornings when she needs to skate. To help pay for her figure skating.
So I spend my time checking skaters in and out of the ice sessions, making sure they pay, making sure they play nice, playing the Bouncer if they're not. Doing all this while the girl skates, so she can skate.
