I missed lunch. Had way too much coffee, and then at 2:30 took boys to get Back the Blue bracelets.

Do you have a quick place or thing you grab when the hAngry hits?

When I am at home, I grab a handful of nuts or a piece of fruit. I almost always have both on hand.

When I am out, I would get something from Chick-fil-A or maybe a shake from Cook Out. Cook Out has 40+ types of shakes - old fashioned milkshakes with real add-ins like bananas, blueberry cheesecake, m&ms, peanut butter, etc. My favorite is mixing chocolate fudge, banana & peanut butter, although the blueberry cheesecake is divine.

Chicken nuggets are my go to drive through snack, since I'm usually driving between stops and need to eat something before my next gig. I try to bring snacks with me, usually peanut butter crackers or chocolate chip chewy bars.

Wendy's crispy chicken sandwich is my go to :) you can't beat $1! At home I usually grab string cheese for a quick snack.

If I'm home, I'll grab an avocado or a granola bar as a snack. If I'm out, it's usually Chick-Fil-A or a Sonic corn dog. Obviously I eat healthier snacks at home!

At home it's a spoonful of peanut butter and maybe some dark chocolate if there is any in the house. I've also been eating the zero greek yogurts lately.

With all of my kids I tend to make sure I have snacks packed if we are going to be out and about a long time...I'll pack fruit, cheese sticks and some almonds. If we are out during Sonic Happy Hour I might get everyone a slush - hello, $.50!

If I really want to splurge I'll get a McDonalds Iced Coffee.

Ooh, I love McDonald's ice cream cones. My favorite lately has been Stacy's Pita Chips. Amazon Pantry has them in little snack bags which are just perfect cuz I will eat THE WHOLE BAG, no matter what size it is. But, I won't eat two small bags in one sitting. Go figure.

I've become ADDICTED to that new whipped peanut butter. Holy smokes! I love cutting up apples and dipping them in it. Fab!

I would prefer it to be a Caramel Frappacino but since that has too many not good for you things I've given into McNuggets -- also not great for you but some protein and the 20 piece is only $1 more than the 10 piece so I have some to share w/dh. Lately I've been on a no red meat kick -- not intentionally.

We always carry water and a few snacks when we are out. The snacks are usually fruit and nuts or organic protein bars. I have to admit we do occasionally stop for a burger at Harvey's where they offer water and salad as sides instead of fries and coke..

We make these delicious "energy bites" a lot for after school snacks to avoid the hangry before dinnertime. I also will throw about 3 of these in a baggie for each kid when I know we'll be running around and might miss snacktime. They are delicious and seriously filling. The only downside is that sometimes you need to floss afterwards. :giggle (chia seeds get stuck!)

I usually have one of these granola bars when the snack attack strikes. I try not to snack at all, so this is my go to when the occasion strikes. NOM NOM. SO yummy, and not too spicy for this wimpy-ish spice girl!

Otherwise, I do have a sweet spot for chocolate. Then one or two of those little (super itty bitty, lol!) Milky Way Minis... or the Twix Minis, Heath Bar Minis or the Snickers Minis. NOM NOM!

OEH, thnx for adding that! I'm gonna make these def.

Tim Hortons!!!! A quick wrap and a double double. Or if I want sweets I'll get a box of timbits!

Hot and Spicy pork rinds for me. I carry little baggies of them to football practice because I'm never hungry enough to eat before, but by the time it's over I'm hAngry without a snack.

We make those too!

Apples, cheese and pretzels is our go to at home. Start with a few pretzels while cutting the apple and cheese. Mommy hungry monster avoided!
Out and about? There's usually a pez candy in my purse. :giggle usually, I just wait until I'm home. But I need to use a few of your ideas!
