Quick iTunes help needed!

Sorry this isn't scrapping stuff, but I'm stuck. I need to get some skate program music turned in ASAP and I can't figure it out, and C's coach can't get to it today. So...

How do you (if it is possible) convert a .mp4 file to an .mp3 file? I'm trying to do it on iTunes like I was told, but I'm not sure you can covert down.
