Question about Selphy

A question for those of you who have a Selphy printer. If I were to create a 4x6 comprised of two 3x4 journaling cards would it print true to size on the Selphy? I'm also assuming that I can hook it up to my computer to print with the USB cable..is that correct?

I'm really considering purchasing one this weekend but wanted to make sure of these two things before I do.

I have an older Selphy and it does not print true to size...or if it does I haven't figured that out yet lol. Maybe someone with a newer model will pop in and tell you if they have changes that in the newer printers.

It's a great little printer for photos though...I don't think you would be disappointed....plus you might not want to print your journaling cards on photo paper anyway

So I ended up buying one...DH had a $5 rewards coupon at Best Buy so we went there and got the printer and the 108 pack of ink and paper (could have got it for a little bit cheaper through Amazon but this put it in my hot little hands tonight). I've been playing around with it and with a little finagling I can make stuff line up pretty much the way I want it (just by giving my 4x6 canvas a bit of a border in my software and then exporting it full 4x6). I still don't have the print area perfect but I think I'm one small step away from being able to print my photos and such true to what I look at when I create my crop. I'm so excited...and the photos are phenomenal! Now I just need those pesky protectors...I wasn't worried about it when I thought it would be Feb. before I would send out to get my photos printed...now I'm so impatient for them to be back in stock!
