PSE - problem with text

wondering if anyone can help. I have PSE and I was working on a project and all my texts will only do caps. I checked everything and cannot figure out what has happened. I went into other programs on my computer and the texts work correct there so I know it is not my keyboard.


Can anyone help?
 
I am betting it is a smart key, you hit on accident...try going into preferences...to fonts and seeing if caps is checked?
Or go to your character box and see this:

and one more try:
Top left of the screen in editor, in the tool bar beside "auto select layer" is a down pointing arrow. With the text tool selected, click on the triangle for a drop down menu..reset tool and you should be good to go!

and more help found:
find the darn arrow as the internet kept saying "on the top right..." So, To reset the text tool:
Click on the text tool
At the bottom (mine is on the bottom anyway) where you have your options of font, size etc... you'll see a question mark in a circle and right next to that four stacked lines with a down arrow in front of it.
Click on those 4 lines and then select "reset tool"

first I reset my text tool did not work then reset my all tools button and did not work. I will shut down now and then turn back on to see if that makes a difference.
 
I was going to ask if there's a character palette like in Photoshop. I used to always forget to uncheck the All Caps button. Glad you figured it out!
