So, if you went a little crazy with the awesome BYOC and you have 26 items in your credits list and you spend the time it takes to link it all up... you get an error and it tells you that the URL is too large :giggle
 
wowza. Can't wait to see what you did with all of them!

I thought you were going to say something about the shopping cart. I had 28 items in mine and I got all sorts of error messages when checking out. LOL.

Did you try entering the list as an edit to your page (i.e., after you uploaded your page)? Some vBulletin implementations had a limit for entering large credits during upload but not during edit. Something to try anyway.
 
Oh, I might try that Heather! I just thought it was funny that I spent the time doing it... it's not normal for me to use so much in one layout, so my dorkiness found it hilarious. :giggle

I'd try the same thing heather suggested. I've had the same problem in the past too. :)

Yep, Heather's right...good tip...that works. Come back and edit the credits with the long description and it won't error.
 
and I always do a ctrl+c ctrl+v when I write everything...I'm used to getting errors message due to internet connection, so I won't loose the hard work this way!!
 
Impressive!! I guess I'd be lazy and just link them up to the whole BYOC page, lol :)

Well, last month I used 19 for my January BYOC page and Angie said she wished I used more variety of product... so I took it as a challenge to use more this month :neener

That's what I ended up doing... but I'll go back and link them all because they're all such awesome goodies this month :)

I love you... it's always good to have someone challenge you once in awhile... apparently, you bring out the competitive side in me... tho, I'll let you win when it comes to running :p
 
I open notepad up and do my credits as I take it from the store then save it to my desk top till needed and add and take away from it as needed
 
Heather your credit list is now equal to mine and that has been done by like noone or very few yet so * bowing* LOL. hehe
( btw isnt it hella irritating to remember them all though LOL)
 
I only use 2-3 products and still can't remember what they were by the time I upload. It's hell to be old.
 
i have to write everything on paper or in notepad but lately its been a notebook that is filled with my credits for pages LOL my hand cramps after a while though LOL
