I just have to brag on my youngest a little bit. His 1st grade just completed a research project on an animal. Wyatt's animal was a Rhinoceros Beetle. They had to do research, write a paper and then today they gave their live presentations. Did I mention that this is for 1st grade!?!? I can't believe they did all that at their age! Anyway, I recorded his presentation and he did so good! The best part was how proud they all were of themselves and their big accomplishment.

That is awesome! My first grader did something very similar this year - but they didn't perform it live - they worked with the 5th graders and made iMovies of their project animal! Great video Wyatt!

YAY!!!!! How cute!!

We did something similar when I taught first grade....researched an ocean animal, made a diorama and wrote a small paper and speech!!! The kids LOVED it!
