The other night during the chat I mentioned that we had 4 to 6 feet of snow... well, ok... 6 feet was a bit exaggerated, but here is proof that we have at least 4! Though this is not the norm and it doesn't stay this way for long, this is what we had to shovel over the holidays!

We are in Quebec, near Montreal.

well freak that much snow would have me down right petrified! I'm very obviously definitely NOT a Canadian...

Oh, I saw this on the news! Didn't you end up breaking a snowfall record?
This is picture was taken facing out to the side deck from our bedroom, mid-storm when we lived down east. We got around 3 feet which was more than enough for me!
Have you shovelled out yet?

I don't know about a record, but it was a lot! Yes, we dug ourselves out the very same day! Most people around here have snow blowers, but we don't, so it was the old fashioned shovel for us... with lots of back rubs and hot chocolate afterwards!

Oh wow, I would love that snow, well would love just a little bit of snow, here in the UK we got nadda, zip, zilch, nothing............stamps feet I WANT SNOW.

Hope you are all safe and warm though

Eeeeekkkkk Now thats snow! I'm with you Donna, I want some snow! But heck, not that much - the UK comes to a standstill with about 1 foot of snow LOL xx

Hope your safe and warm, I'd say the backrubs and hot chocolate are a nice bonus xx

WOW! Can I trade you our summer? Snow sounds perfect about now, maybe not quite that much, though. Fabulous photos!

This! I HATE snow! While it's beautiful and all no freaking thank you!

I am horrible, it snows here mayby an inch, some times (but not very much) more, and I am snowed in....I don't like it.
My baby boy (4) is with me, he says, it looks like fun, but I know now it is not fun, it is cold and it hurts.
bhahahha

Yep...I'm the one that stands in the corner and snaps the photos of the snowball fights. And I'm the one that ends up taking a stray snowball to the face. Grrrrrr!

Holy cow! You weren't kidding about the snow! I love that photo and your LO! Amazing!

We used to get snows like that in Michigan when I was a kid, but the last couple of years have been sorely lacking. I want to take my kids sledding but we only have tiny bits of snow here and there. Mostly I just see dead grass outside still. Boo!

EEK!!! No thank you!!! Tho, can you send some our way??? We haven't gotten any which isn't the norm either and my kids really want to go sledding... I might have to head up to WI one of these days.

wow! that is like cool pix. Not sure if i would like it though. I like it when we get a couple of inches, but anymore than a foot ..i dont think so.

Heather, We should plan a WI road trip, Bianca wants snow badly!

Lynn-Marie, send us just enough... how about 6 inches? Is that enough?

I'm with you ladies. I do not love snow. I don't want to shovel it, drive in it, play in it. Nothing. And living in South Dakota that isn't really working for me. :D
