printing on canvas - any tips?

hey girls! so i bought some wrapped canvas prints the other day from a groupon deal - so now i've got to get some pics ready to print! i can't decide if i want to do color/b&w/sepia/etc ... they are going to be 16x22 ... and i was hoping to do one of each girl individually and then one of the two of them together ... and i think i'll HAVE to do B&W b/c i want them to match and there is no way i'll get three good shots all on the same day - haha - and i don't want one to be at the beach in pink and other to be at the pumpkin patch in orange - LOL - that won't look good hanging together!

anyway - thoughts?! tips ?! etc? did you all just do normal pics? or add some embellies/word art/etc?
 
I've made some rak pages for a friend of mine and she always prints them on canvas and says they look great. I think no matter what you do..whether it's just a photo, a full LO, or something in between, it's going to look fab!
For the 3 together I would do B&W with minimal elements or maybe a word for each written across it.
