After reading Karen's post about printing stickers, it got me thinking about what kind of paper is best to use for printing and cutting out digi elements for hybrid cards. I want to get back into cardmaking but this time I want to make hybrid cards. I have lots of paper scrapping supplies including cardstock but the quality of color printed elements isn't great.

Not sure what kind of white paper I should get and what thickness. Anyone who does hybrid projects, what paper do you print on? I want to print 8.5x11 sheets of digi elements to cut out and mount onto cards. Any suggestions?

I use bright white cardstock from Staples.

I mentioned my favorite paper in passing in my sticker thread, but this paper is the most amazing paper EVER for printing digital stuff with bright >>> HP Presentation Brochure Paper It's double sided and I used it to make my ATC cards for the swap here. Here's a sample of the paper I love next to Neenah bright white cardstock:

Well I only plan to 'make' stickers with elements for two little TN journals I'm making. I used to do this kind of thing years ago with interesting headlines/titles/big phrases from magazines. It was a way to get me journaling with a quirky phrase. I really could go hybrid with all the bits I still have! but I'm printing on full page label paper from Amazon. Or I will be, god willing, this week.

@cookingmylife Love the full page label paper idea!

@Karen Thx for showing a sample of them. I am going to find my staples GC and go get some on the wkend. I almost forgot that I have a gift card from last year and it will cover the cost of the paper....yay!

Maureen....I have Fiskars non-stick scissors and they are great. I've got small ones that are good for cutting out detail.
