Hey everyone! Dropping in to share the new Pink Reptiles Design monthly challenge. There's also a new Three Way | Deconstruction Junction posted on the blog. The Three Way series is all about showing you creative way to Stretch your Stash! The inspiration was all those fancy deconstructed dishes I see on the Food Channel Network. Come check out how we are relating it scrapbooking and the October Challenge!

We hope you will join this month and we'd love to have you share your pages here in this thread (but please don't forget to add your page link to the blog comments so we know you are participating)!!!

Congrats to Kellie, who won last's month challenge! Have fun shopping! :yesss

Oh and I almost forgot ... make sure you check out the blog tomorrow afternoon. Mirjam will have something special to share with you that I know you will not want to miss! If you're not already subscribed ... now would be a great time to sign up for the Pink Reptile Newsletter which shares sales, freebies and new releases! :beat

Love these ideas & inspiration- off to play!
Teaser alert! Will tune in to the blog again tomorrow- wonder what's up?!...

Lovely pages so far :) Its a super idea and so many possibilities. And that's what prompts me to play with again and again LOL!
Here's one I did with Background paper deconstructed, Photo deconstructed by fames and layering of sketch and B&W versions. A few of the elements have also been extracted and changed a bit...

And how could I have stopped at just one?!!! LOL! This one is basically all Photo deconstruction. I created a squares pattern and clipped a B&W photo to it.In the background I created a mask with a number of stamps from Mirjam's Stamp It and Brush Bonanza and clipped a coloured version of the same photo. Embellished it a little and voila!

Deconstructed paper, journal cards, and played with sketch and colored photo w/mask

Wow! I'm loving all these pages. The techniques are so versatile. I used the deconstructing a background paper recently on another layout that I'll post in the gallery on October 30th. Thanks, Jenn, for the ideas.

Ok, extracted word 'be' from the background paper and deconstucted another couple of papers to layer on top - lots of fun. Thanks for the challenge

awesome ladies! love, love these cool unique pages you all have created. still a few days to get a page entered before the Nov challenge goes live on Nov 15th! :)

This is so much NOT what I thought I was going to do....I extracted the flower from one of the "Noted" papers, and then I couldn't decide what to do with it. Somewhere along the line, I ended up turning it into a bit of a mandala. Then I tried practically every paper in my PRD collection for a background & none of them were quite right, so then I took the glitter arrows from "If Only" & duplicated then a couple dozen times & pieced them together for a background, but it overpowered the first part. Then I found myself blending my new glittery paper with solid colors & was finally happy with this one. It may not even count for the challenge, since I didn't actually scrap anything on it, but when I got to this point, I couldn't stand the thought of covering any of it up, though I did add a touch of shadowing.
