I used the dry embossed in the background on the picture I used the artistic filter and then I used the repetitive tues behind tge photo

I had so much fun trying out the Halftone Black and White Photo technique. It works in full Photoshop and PSE!! I sure hope others will give it a try.

I know my page doesn't qualify because I don't have the required percentage of PRD products - yet! but I thought I'd share it as I enjoyed making it a lot. My son is a chef in CA and I asked him to tell me how he'd make these mini spring rolls as i wouldn't want the shrimp overcooked in the deep frying. I'm hoping this page will encourage him to answer me!

I used the Make a Sketch tutorial in PSE 13 but added another full copy of the color image under the original b&w image. Sadly, I merged before I saved the blend mode for that layer!

This is more pop-art than half-tone, but I love the look. Here are the steps I took in Picasa. I boosted the color and contrast way up with HDR-ish, then took the saturation down (because it was garishly bright after that.) Then I added a Cinemascope filter, which evened things out. Then I added a glow for a dreamy look. Then I did the comicbook edit - which adds dots and a pop art look. I did cross-process to make the colors look more pug-like, and then did comic again for a more pop-art look.
