Those potato bowls sound amazing!!Are you a potato lover? Absolutely!!!
What's your favorite?? Baked, mashed, au gratin, scalloped, French fries, tater tots, hashbrowns just to name a few.
A local restaurant has a dish called Mashed Potato Bowl with various flavors. Currently on the menu are Garlic Parmesan Chicken, Baked Steak & Gravy, Chicken & Sweet Corn and Twice Baked Potato Mashed Potato Bowls. I hear they are really good. I really need to go check them out.
From October 2018 to May of 2021, I lived on mashed and baked potatoes. For much of that time, I had no teeth at all so couldn't chew. Potatoes to the rescue along with a few other soft foods. I had to eat stuff that could just slide down my throat.
Want to know my dinner last night... a baked potato during the beginning of the super bowl. Had no idea it was National Potato Day.

Sweet potatoes are the one potato I will not eat. I threw up after eating them as a child so never had any desire to try again!Have you guys seen that Courtney Cook on TikTok that eats a whole sweet potato that she stuffs with cheese? I haven't tried it, but that looks interesting. I've never been a huge sweet potato fan, but they are ok and I eat them to get the nutrition. My fave way to cook them is sliced kinda thin, coated with olive oil and a little sea salt and roasted till they are crispy.
I love Courtney! I'm not a big fan of sweet potatoes either, but your way of roasting them sounds pretty good!I'm like you...I love them any way I can get them!! I love a good homemade mashed potato, fries, potato soup, just all of it.

I am extra grateful for having family members who like to make proper latkes because I lack the physical endurance to squeeze the grated potatoes (but skipping that step makes the texture weird).
I have never entered a room with latkes and been turned away.I am grateful to my Jewish friends for introducing me to latkes. Wait, what, you get to eat potato pancakes with sour cream?! I honour you.
