Unfortunately we will be moving in less than two months. We don't want to move but the rent is too high here. We are thinking of using pods because we will be living with my mom for two or three months. This way we will load the pod, they will store it and bring it to our new apartment when we are ready. This will save us from having to load and unload multiple times. Has anyone used pods? We're you happy with them? Is there anything we should know before using them? Also do you have any helpful moving tricks? We always label the box with what room it should go in and what is in the box. Thanks so much! Best wishes to all the other ladies that will be moving! It seems there are a few of us! :)

We haven't used the actual pods before, but have used a semi trailer and loaded it full and stored it while we built - so same kind of thing. Good luck with your moving - bummer it's under the circumstances it is. No real great tips for packing here though - we just throw things in boxes and call it good!

My son and his young family had a Pod while their house was being repaired (due to flooding) but they had theirs outside their house. So if they needed anything, they'd just pop over to the house, grab what they needed, locked it back up, and on their way. It was nice not having to go to storage unit place but it works the same way. I think it was alot more than putting everything in storage because of the cost but if you're not needing it for a long amount of time, it may be worth it.
