Please say a prayer for Josh...

oh no - thinking of you and josh! and your entire family! hopefully everyone makes it home safe and sound soooooon!

Keeping you guys in my thoughts and prayers Lauren.

How old is he? My niece was just diagnosed with this last year (she's now 11) but she had been sick for quite a long time. I know how painful this can be. Poor guy!!!

Ty chickies! Thankfully he's not scared, he's used to being poked and prodded. Right now they are getting read to put his IV in and draw labs, then we go from there. He's happily watching tv right now. :) xoxo

Aw, poor Josh, praying he will get the relief he needs. It's so fortunate that he isn't scared. The free access to popsicles in the pediatric ward's fridge were what made my youngest overcome his fear.

Aw...I'm sorry Lauren! He's such a trooper. I'll keep you guys in my thoughts. I hope they get him on the mend ASAP!

Today we did a lot of waiting around. We were told in the morning that the GI team was going to see us during their rounds, but they never came... so we were stuck waiting. So they kept him on fluids all day and ran more tests (checking for infection)... collected more "samples" and what not. We were told by one of the drs that they'll probably schedule him for a colonoscopy since his last was last Summer. So they made it sound like it could be at least a few more days.

DH and the kiddos came in to see us tonight and DH is staying the night w/ Josh, so I can get the other 2 ready for their 1st day of school on Monday. I can not tell you how wrong it feels to not have him home for the 1st day of school.... i'm sure it bothers me more than it bothers him.

He's in great spirits, but its getting BORED!

I'll be heading back over some time tomorrow.

Thank you SOOOO much for all your thoughts! xo
