Plant/Flower Obsessions? | Pad Patter 5.12.16

Well, we have lots of deer around so my plants have to be yucky to deer. I love daffodils and black-eyed Susans. We are in North Carolina so we can also grow crepe myrtles, a lovely bush that flowers in the August heat.

I love hydrangea, daylilies, wandering irises, bleeding heart, gardenias . . . all of which is in our yard. My mom has even more . . . oak leaf hydrangea, jasmine, foxglove, snapdragons, all variety of ferns, azalea, etc. I'm not a gardener even though I appreciate it. Jay does all the gardening around here.

I do love peonies. I just bought a fake bouquet recently and that's what's on our dining room table. I paired it with a crystal vase and it definitely made me happy! And I can't kill it either! LOL
