I've been thinking of how I might want to challenge myself, do things a bit differently. I've been getting 12x12 photo books for my layouts but am going to change things up.

I'm going to get 8x10 pages printed for an album that will hold all my winter project pages in them. I'm looking forward to it. I'm going out tonight to look at albums at Michaels. I decided on the 8x10 size b/c its a size that Costco prints and is a reasonable price. It'll be fun to scrap at a different size then my usual 12x12.

What about you? Making any plans yet?

oh I pulled out my bullet journal for 2018...and have a posty note IN GREEN for the MOC!
I am planning to transfer my 17into my 18 next week and am giddy that the MOC6 will be a part again!
I am gonna do 8x11 for 2018 memories too.

I wish there were more 6x8 templates....I'd like to give that a go for 2018, but I'm not good at converting templates into 6x8 so I'll probably just stick to 12x12

I was considering doing 6x8 too @bbymks5
So.....what templates do you have? I was gonna go check and see what's out there!

I've got my TLP kits tagged up in ACDSee for MOC so I can access them quickly. I'm planning to dig out my diary from our mainland Europe trip and type out some journaling to go with the different photos next.

I'm with Christa, Justine, and Jan. I have been planning to do MOC since the last MOC. I did clean out my downloads folder last week, but that's something I try to do at least once a month anyway. The MOC excitement may have given me a little push to get it done though.

Closer to the end of the year, when I have more time, I should probably make sure I don't have any retired designers in my Lilypad folder. I think I moved them out when they retired, but not absolutely sure.

Oh, and as for size, I have a general strong preference for 12x12 and expect that will continue through MOC.

I use ACDSEE but never get around to tagging anything but I think I'm going to spend a bit of time and tag some essentials, over the next couple of weeks, as my work schedule slows down a bit. I'm sure you all know how time consuming it can sometimes to be find a specific product you want to use.

since september, I scrap with a portrait format and I really enjoy the result. I will do the MOC with this size

Last MOC, I started my 2016 Disneyland trip album using some of the challenges and continued it using the monthly and designer challenges. It's one of my most favorite albums ever due to the variety of pages in it. So, I'm planning on starting my 2017 Disneyland trip album with this MOC. What I did last year and will do again this year, was list out the photos/subjects I want to scrap. I'll include notes with how many photos, if there are no photos or even if there is an "imperfect" photo I want to use. I'll scan this list first each morning to see if anything fits. This book will be landscape 8.5x11. I mainly scrap 12x12, but I like mixing things up when I can to keep things interesting. I should probably do the same for the trip to Paris and London that we took last month, but I will probably focus on the Disneyland one since my daughter and I will be going back again in April. I would like to have the 2017 book well underway before we add a new batch of Disneyland photos to scrap.

I did do some shopping to have some fresh new to me kits to play with.
I hope to work on pages for albums that are printed 8 x 8 but I will scrap in 12 x 12 and be aware of journaling to be large enough for the resizing.

I have not taken action yet, but I want to pick out a bunch of photos for pages. Then when a challenge calls for a certain number of photos or some other technique, I will be ready. For me, picking out the photos is some times the longest part of doing a layout, so having them ready to go is a huge plus.

I will have 4 albums to work on for MOC - finishing up 2017 family, 2017 Williamsburg vacation, 2017 Myrtle Beach vacation, and a new 2018 family album. That ought to give me enough variety!

I think I have all my supplies ready and tagged properly. I have one tag for TLP (incl. designer freebies etc) and one for the TLP shop. But this time I'll double check if I am not 100% sure.

I scanned tons of vacation photos as well as heritage photos so I should be all set be all set. I shouldn't run out of photos anytime soon.

I only have the sewn pockets by Valorie Wibbens LOL!! I've discovered a vast majority of 6x8 are geared more towards a pocket style scrapping.

I was considering doing 6x8 too @bbymks5
So.....what templates do you have? I was gonna go check and see what's out there!
