So I am in need of a planner for school stuff/design stuff and all the important info that I can't trust to stay in my head anymore. :giggle I was thinking about getting the Erin Condren one but I saw a post today with someone who uses the Martha Stewart line...so now I don't know which I want more.

Do you guys use a planner/calendar? How do you stay organized with all your important info/deadlines?

I have a Studio C planner by Carolina Pad that I love (I got it at Walmart for about $3 I think and I've seen the line at Michael's as well). I keep all of my appointments and to-do lists in there. It's a two page/wk planner with seven lines to write out your to do lists/appointments (complete with check boxes). If I have a layout due, layout to be posted, library books due, online chat, or other appointments I write it in on the date it's due/happening, etc. Either the night before or the morning on each date I fill in a few things that I want to accomplish for that day (fun stuff like working on PL or not so fun stuff like cleaning toilets...I like to have a balance). I love that I get to check off items that I complete.

Well you know i have the Erin Condren..but did see the Martha Stewart line at Staples just the other day and thought "oohh I rather like this". I'm a sucker for that woman's wares for some reason. LOL!

eta: I will say this. I'm happy with my EC one. Really love it. It is pricey though and wouldn't have gotten it if it weren't for that Plum District deal.

Hope you can find a planner that you love!

Love my Erin Condren day planner. I'm a sucker for all day planners though : ) I really like the EC one though because it has a lot of room to write. My daily lists are long so I like the extra room.

At some points in the last year I've used google calendar as well as my planner. I just had too many CT assignments and real life assignments. So I put some of my CT assignments over on google. It helped me until I whittled down my list.

I got the Crystal Wilkerson one... but I never used it because I didn't print it out. LOL. I'm horrible with planners. I just keep schtuff in my head. Imma disorganized girl.

I have a Moleskine daily planner, the bigger 5x8 one. There's a page for everyday. But I use it more to journal than to plan. I do most of my planning in Google Calendar and Evernote.

I have mom's home journal that I found through notebookingpages.com which is a homeschooling site. THe creator of the site also does the home journal, and it is a printable customizable planner. It is awesome because it has all kinds of planning pages, but the only thing I don't like is that I have to print them out and put them in the binder, lol. Sometimes thats just a little more work than I want to do. I've done just your plain jane planners from walmart and they've all been great. :)

i use google calendar for EVERYTHING. i have set up one calendar for myself, one for each of the kids, one for scrapbooking, one for meal planning. then i can show or hide whichever one(s) i want to see at any given time. plus, it sincs with an incredible ap that i have on my kindle fire, so my calendar and tasks and notes go with me everywhere. i've tried a billion different paper varieties of planners and have never found one that i love.

I use my planner as well for EVERYTHING! Appointments, cleaning, work, meetings, CT, etc. I found a really nice medium sized one at Barnes & Noble and I love, love it! Though I have had the inexpensive ones from Walmart and love those as well!

Before I got my iphone, I used print outs from The Motivated Mom, but now I mostly just use my phone's calendar and Cozi.
