This past weekend my son stayed with my mom and dad. When I emptied his suitcase this morning there was a Krystal cheeseburger box wrapper thing in there. I started to throw it away and he saw me and said "Mom wait, I got that for you to put in the scrapbook because I went there with Nana and Papa."

I think I've created a monster, but you better bet that thing is going to be included when I do this week's pages with the story included. :giggle

Very cool! DD will bring me things occasionally that she wants saved in PL. I think it's so awesome. Now if I could just get DH on the same page. lol.

Kids can be so awesome about things like this! It's great he wants to include himself in it, as a participant!

Awww. I think that is so sweet!! I try to get my son involved and he just rolls his eyes. lol. although he does like looking at it. So I guess I cant complain too much.

:like

That's awesome, Tracy!! I love that LJ thought of it, so cute!! Who knows...maybe you are raising the next Tim Holtz!! LOL

I often wonder how my love of memory keeping will influence my kids as adults. My teenager is already into her smash book and photography. However, I think my little one is my future scrapbooker. She saves all kinds of memorabilia (even told her teacher at pre-k that she needed a paper back for PL!), takes pics of everything and is super crafty. The first thing she asked me when I got back from CHA was if I brought her any new washi tape. :giggle

OMG! :rofl

I think that is so sweet that he is thinking of your Project Life! It obviously makes an impact on him if he's saving his cheeseburger wrappers for it.

Love, love, love that!!! Thank you for sharing, it really made me smile.

When we picked DD (13) up from camp she immediately handed me her camp patch to put in PL. but even better... She kept a journal of the 3-day hike for it too! You know she's getting her own insert!! ;)

My son actually kept a journal while on his three week camping trip this summer. So as he's reading me the stories, I'm looking through his photos so I can match them up... I said did you take a picture of it? No.

Well, at least I got the stories... I can use doodles to tell them!
