It's Back to School Night, and DH has graciously offered pizza for dinner to make the night a little smoother.
Now, pizza in our house is sometimes a battle of wills, often a discussion of toppings, followed by a where from, which might lead to yet another topping discussion.

My favorite pizza is pepperoni and pineapple. I also love a good Canadian bacon, pineapple, olives, and mushrooms. Really, anything with a red sauce and no onions and peppers.

DH? His favorite include onions and peppers or fancy ones like garlic crusts with chicken and artichoke hearts.

Munchkin? Pepperoni or just plain cheese. Hold any mushrooms, and pick off anything green.

What about you? When you have pizza does everyone like the same thing? Do you order a gluten free one for allergies, and a regular one for others? Or is your pizza order super simple like my Dad's house (1 cheese, 1 pepperoni, 1 Hawaiian).

my husband wants everything on it..EVERYthing!
me Hawaiian too..or white sauce and chicken with onions and spinach...
kids will eat everything, and anything....scary actually! lol

Thought it would be easier without the boys home. Nope. DH still has varied tastes usually different from what I wanted. Usually if we have more than 2 toppings we are okay we agree there. But less and I've learned to make it 1/2 and 1/2. With 3 it's hard.

I love bacon on pizza. Not Canadian bacon but regular breakfast bacon. SO good. So my daughter and I get bacon and cheese and hubby will eat just about any kind of pizza but typically keeps it cheap and just goes with pepperoni.

Ok, here goes.
My kids will only eat cheese pizza, crust doesn't matter. They like all cheese pizzas.
Hubby & I both like a pizza with the works. I like anchovies, he doesn't, so I get them on the side. I'm allergic to red onions, so we never get those. Every once in awhile I get the Hawaiian BBQ chicken pizza from Papa John's, it's so good. If we have a coupon & the pizza has to be one or two toppings, we agree on pepperoni or pepperoni with mushrooms. Honestly though, I haven't met too many pizzas I didn't like. If it's like a personal sized pizza just for me, I try something new almost every time.

So. I work at the best pizza joint in town. *hair flip emoji* lol

When we eat there, we typically get the Island Supreme (canadian bacon and pineapple) for DH and I, and half cheese, half pepperoni for the kids. We make an amazing garlic chicken pizza with garlic sauce, chicken, green peppers, onions and topped with fresh tomatoes after baking. It. Is. Insane. I'm not a fan of peppers and onions, but the tomato really neutralizes the onion flavor and it almost has a cucumber-y taste instead. Deeeeeeelish.

My favorite pizza is also pepperoni and pineapple, but after baking, I like to add olives. YUM. DH will pretty much eat anything, especially if there's a lot of meat on it. The boys are all about pepperoni and cheese.

I have to order a non-soy gluten-free veggie pizza, light on the cheese. There's a place in town called The Lost Dog Café that makes the best pizzas, and their GF pizzas are insanely delish. (It's VERY hard to get a good GF pizza!) This is what I get:

Pedigree Pie
Garlic butter, artichoke hearts, tomatoes and spinach covered with Parmesan, fontina and mozzarella cheeses sprinkled with fresh basil.

I don't care what anyone else eats, as long as I get this pie! It's all mine.... bwahhahha!

The café's proceeds go to dog resuce, so all their food is named something "dog-ish". It's a rather menu to read. And they are right next door to it's sister café, The Stray Cat Café.

my daughter is allergic to dairy, so we don't often go out for pizza as a family. There is one restaurant we know of that carries/offers the Daiya vegan cheese, so when we go there, she gets her own "kaydee pizza".... she usually likes pepperoni, olives, mushrooms with her cheese.
At home, we make our own without cheese, usually with the same toppings. My son will pick off the pepperoni.
when hubby and I order our own pizza, we do sometimes have debates. I am generally fine with whatever he wants, but sometimes random moods strike me and we have to discuss options to limit the toppings. Lol! we don't usually go with Hawaiian but I do like that if it's available at a pizza party or something. We have a hard time deciding WHERE to get it from. We generally decide by looking to see who has a better special that evening.

In Portland, I had an amazing white sauce, shrimp, onion, and caper "personal" pizza... yummmmmmm.
oh, and QuikTrip (QT) has a really yummy breakfast pizza, too. Sausage, gravy, eggs, cheese, and bacon I think.

We have finally figured out that if we get Pizza Hut, then there's something for everyone, but we have to get 2 pizzas. The kids get a pan crust pepperoni pizza and the adults get a thin crust supreme with the flavored crust... YUM!

I'm also good with a Little Ceasars pepperoni with crazy bread and sauce... i know it's cheap pizza, but I like their sauce. I dip my pizza in it. hehe

We started making individual pizzas to solve the topping problem. We've been using naan flatbread. And then there's the "I must eat everything organic" phase that I'm still trying to follow. So I make my own sauce. Herbs from my garden, fresh mozzarella and/or cheese made from grass fed cows. I like mushrooms, roasted red peppers and any leftover topping that might be in the fridge. Hubby likes hot peppers, sausage, any and all kinds of olives, roasted corn cut off the cob.

I've also made a crust from cauliflower, which is surprisingly good. It's a big process to make it, which is why I now use the naan bread.

My daughter is allergic to wheat and dairy and has never found a pizza she likes, so she gave up years ago. If the rest of the family wants pizza we still have to make something else for her. I developed lactose intolerance while avoiding milk so I could breastfeed my daughter for 2 years so I get cheeseless pizzas.

I love all kinds of veggies on mine, and also like pineapple. My long time favorite pizza for many years has been Amy's Roasted Vegetable Pizza (no cheese or substitute at all) though I'm a little tired of it and wish they'd come out with a new cheeseless variety. Occasionally I'll order a cheeseless pizza for myself from my family's favorite pizza restaurant, Domino's. It's funny how they always call after we submit our order through their website; they ask if we meant to order a cheeseless pizza. :D

My husband will eat just about anything. My other daughter likes pepperoni or plain cheese from Domino's or the interesting cheesy flavors in Wegman's frozen pizza line. My son mostly still sticks to plain cheese, but he has been trying some new foods recently.

We get 2 pizzas cuz DH likes funky things and DD and I like it simple: extra cheese and double pepperoni.
DS doesn't like pizza so we get him an order of cheese sticks and/or give him our crusts. He will eat grilled pizza when DH makes it: those are individual pizzas so we each get exactly what we want.

Friday for us is usually a large Ledo pizza, half pepperoni (him) and half mushrooms or black olives (me). Once in a while I put marinated artichokes on some of mine too - at home.

But never, ever, pineapple for either of us. omg that sounds like heresy! :circles But now I know who orders those! heheh

We always agree - Chicken and Three Cheese Pizza from a local restaurant. Chicken, three cheeses (duh), white sauce, roasted red peppers, fresh basil, minus the red onions.

Give me meat and lots of it! Pepperoni, sausage and bacon make me very happy. No veggies (or fruit! Looking at you, pineapple!) except for onions. I love barbecue chicken pizza too, but that depends on the place.

My husband is more of a supreme type. He likes having a variety of veggies and meat. Since it's just the two of us we trade of getting one kind or the other. I just pick off all the stuff I don't like and give it to him.

We usually get 3 pizzas, and the leftovers are lunches for the boys.

My youngest will only eat a cheese pizza, the oldest has pepperoni, and dh and I have crumbled bacon, peperroni, and black olives. It's not my favourite, but it keeps him happy.

Oh, and we order from Papa John's which has 51% off here on Mondays.

We all like different things, so I usually order 3 different pizzas. DH likes pepperoni, Italian sausage, and mushrooms. DS likes chicken and bacon. And I really don't like pizza at all :giggle, at least not traditionally. I don't like red sauce, so I usually get either a parmesan or pesto base with mushrooms, feta, mozzarella, spinach, and jalapenos. The Magical Mystery Tour Pizza at Mellow Mushroom is my very favorite.

my favorite is bacon (not canadian bacon) and feta! on a thin crust. yum yum yum.
DH will eat anything
kids are cheese only :)

and hey, we're having pizza tonight too :) Local fundraiser for school

Sarita was a veggie for 6 years so we got used to Vegetarian, but now we buy some great German pizzas called Ristorante, 2 for £4, and they have a chicken & spinach that is amazing. We also love Hawaiian, but apart from chili, we like anything (Sarita doesn't like anchovies but I love them!!!)
we were eating so much pizza my sugar rocket high right now :( so we are starting a low carb diet, gluten free too.... I will suffer... LOL

Cheese & pepperoni only, and my husband make it here at home fresh!
