Got a question for y'all. As I'm finally getting boxes unpacked from our move and hanging stuff back on our walls, I'm running across a dilemma. Obviously I love having pics of our family up around the house. However, I'm running out of room. Plus, i have tons of Emma as a baby and so very few of Camden. (typical 2nd child syndrome. i mean, i have the pics just few are printed. sorry sweet baby boy.)

How often do you replace family pics in your home? And what do you do with them after you take them down?

Oooh been thinking about this lately because I'm starting to put photos up again now that we're in that phase of our move. So I'd say that I replace them once a move (or every couple years or so, depending), when we take down and then put up our frames, lol! Lately I've been thinking maybe I should do that more often. As of now I just keep our printed ones in a boring photo album. Would like to switch that up and maybe get crafty with them, creating a little mini book or album.

I still have a lot of the baby ones up but typically what I try to do is put the new one on top of the other and keep it in the frame, just underneath. Something my Mom always did, so I guess that's why I do it.

I have one 8 x 10 frame in our kitchen/dining area that I put a new family picture in once a year. We always take a vacation of some kind over 4th of July and I try to always take a picture of our whole family during that week. So far I've just been leaving the prior years pictures in that same frame and it's so fun to look through them each year when I put the new one in. :) Obviously I can't do that forever, but I'm going to until the prong can't hold anymore!
