Are you doing anything for today out of the ordinary?
A pizza place i haven't tried [Blaze Pizza] is doing a pizza pie for $3.14. I'm thinking about trying it out because that's pretty cheap! There's also pumpkin pie in the freezer i might pull out for today. We'll see if i get that far.
 
i saw this title and was like 'what?', i guess b/cos we write our date day/month/year here it isn't something i remembered (and hey to my DD it has to be Friday to be Pie Day - we might have a thing about rhyming or Dr Seuss in our house)
 
That's a great deal on the pizza! Being a math geek, I love Pi Day and usually try to do something for it. I got a little busy this year and really haven't thought about it. We have a math teacher at our high school that brings pies for all her students. We did have a potluck luncheon yesterday, complete with peanut butter pie, so at least I did have some :)

Pieology Pizza (California chain) is offering a large pizza for $3.14 if you sign up for their emails....it's a good deal. My kids love their pizza. Don't think we'll be having it though. lol
 
I forgot all about this! I usually love celebrating Pi day as my birthday is the 22nd of July (22/7 is Pi) that explains why the pies were discounted at my favourite store. I am making soup today in the hopes that the winter rains will follow. That pizza deal sounds fabulous!
 
I was just coming to remind everyone it was pi day! I love banana cream pie and hope my hubby remembers to bring one home today. I'd go get it, but I ended up with the sickies like he and Aspen had. I'm just going to take it easy today. I'll probably just watch a show or scrap a little and hopefully get a good nap or two in today.

We're having an early St. Patrick's Day dinner here since Clara is gone on Friday (Disney World!). I only make Corned Beef and Cabbage once a year and she didn't want to miss it... plus tonight is the one night this week that we're all home for dinner.

But now I want pie.
 
Kroger near our house has 8" pies for $3.14. I am thinking about going to get one....
 
All of this talk about pie is making me really hungry. I gave up desserts for Lent, so of course all I can think about is a giant coconut cream pie!! I guess I'll just have to drink instead! :martini
 
I will live vicariously through all of the pizza eaters today LOL!! My favorite pizza place Eklectic Pie out by mom's house is having a buy one pizza get one free of equal or lesser price and they are so good!! Well good for AZ anyway LOL!!

I think I'll pick the girls up a little pie from the grocery store a treat.
 
My bro is a math teacher and takes pies for his kids, too! I figure any excuse for pie is a good excuse so I made a chocolate one this morning that is just waiting for supper and whipped cream!
 
I love Pi day because I think pi is a cool number. Also it's my dad's birthday -- he's celebrating in heaven, but I'm having fond remembrances of him today.
