@keepscrappin Thank you. Can you tell me more about the place command? I had watched some Fiddle-Dee-Dee videos and it looked like she had an entire kit opened up on the right side and could select what she wanted to include. The photo bin is useless for this. It is so small. I want to see all my options larger.
I tried the place command and I wasn't able to "place" more than on element at a time?
Any light you can shed on the would be helpful. Thanks!
What you are seeing in my videos on the right side is my layers panel. It sounds like you already have the layers panel open on the right, but if you haven't, you can turn it on by going to the top menu and click on WINDOWS and then check LAYERS.
I use two monitors when I'm scrapping. The left screen has Photoshop CC on it, and the right screen has either File Explorer or another program called ACDSee. I select and then drag from the right screen onto the left screen and drop those items onto my canvas. The left screen is the only one that is captured in my videos, so all you will see is my Photoshop CC interface unless I specifically open up File Explorer or ACDSee onto the left screen.
You won't be able to drag and drop directly onto a PSE canvas as everything goes into the photo bin. You can increase the size of the photo bin by hovering over the top border of the photo bin until you get the up/down arrow and then drag with your mouse to make it bigger. Of course, this greatly hampers the size available for your canvas. There are also options for you to change the layout of the canvas and papers/elements you place in the photo bin. When you are looking at the bottom toolbar, you'll see LAYOUT between ROTATE and ORGANIZER. Once you have multiple files in the photo bin, you'll be able to select a variety of layout options.
You may not have the ability to choose the LAYOUT OPTION of FLOATING ALL. If so, go to EDIT>PREFERENCES>GENERAL and make sure ALLOW FLOATING DOCUMENTS IN EXPERT MODE and ENABLE FLOATING DOCUMENT WINDOW DOCKING options are checked. From that point, you will see all your items as floating windows.
I am scheduled for my next Watch Cheryl Scrap LIVE! for Thursday, February 2, 2023, at 9 pm EST/6 pm PST. If you'd like to pop in, I can answer your questions with PSE open. DISCLAIMER: I haven't used PSE in a long time, so it's likely I'll be learning something along with you. LOL
