Photoshop CC Question

I have been using Photoshop CC for several years and have never had a problem but recently I have been having some weird issues:

1. Load a template and when I add a photo to the spot - I use file, place. When I chose the photo and then hit ctrl, alt g to get the photo in the template space. I then do ctrl e to merge down and the image disappears. It will come back with my next move but it is just aggravating.

2. The second problem is that when I run my action to save to web and then save web version it seems that I can't get the image to the right size.

I don't remember changing anything but I do remember that an upgrade was done recently so maybe this changed something.

I hope this makes sense and if anyone has any ideas on how to fix these items I would appreciate it.

I had this happen last night! When I moved an image with the mouse it disappeared. But when I used my arrow keys, it came back and stayed. I hadn't merged anything either. I'm hoping it was a one time glitch.

This one I don't have. Is it an action you made? Is it the size (600x600) or the size (250 or less) that's not going to the right size?
And is it every layout or just certain ones? I occasionally have issues with certain layouts, but not every one.

Your first issue is a known bug since the update- drives me batty! I'm hoping there is a fix soon!
The second- I'm not sure- I run a similar action (a few actually) and they seem to be fine. Sorry! That's not very helpful!

I heard some had issues with the resize before the update. I suggest Re downloading the free resize for web by Paislee Press. It works fine for me

I use the free paislee press resize for web and I have no issues with that action even after the upgrade.

Well it was weird but Cheryl (gonewithwind) suggested that I delete/reload photoshop. I did that and it has worked fine ever since. It did take a few times for me to get it downloaded/reinstalled again but it has worked fine since. I don't know if my previous upgrade "erred" out or why it was giving me problems
