I know that some scrappers include "inserts" in their digital PL photobooks by leaving part of the page blank (in the case of a smaller insert layout such as a 6x12) and then trimming the blank portion off later.

I love this idea, and I was wondering if anyone here who has done it has a picture of the technique in action in their actual printed book? I would love to see!

I'm totally addicted to "inserts"!!

Those look fab, Tracie! I love the washi tape tabs on them. Thank you so much for sharing your photos!

OH MY!! What a fabulous idea!!! I would have never have thought of that in a Digi version!

I can't claim coming up with the idea. I got it from reading The Family Bees Blog. She suggested the washi tabs and I would highly recommend them. They give you something to grab onto when trying to turn those trimmed pages. I totally love them and have three in the book of the second half of 2014 that I just ordered. It took me a little while to work up the nerve to actually cut my pages, but it went really well once I got started.
