So, April 25th always makes me giggle. I still think back to Miss Congeniality and the line 'Describe your perfect Date'.

"April 25th, because it's not too hot and not too cold, all you need is a light jacket. "
And our pizza place does specials for today, because their slogan is Love at 425 degrees.

So, what's your perfect date?
Mine would be a hike somewhere pretty, with lots of time to talk, finished with pizza at home together.

I'd forgotten that line! *giggle*

My perfect date is walking around a city we both like and checking out new shops/restaurants while we walk. Nothing really scheduled, just walking and eating and shopping. :)

P.S. Now I want pizza for dinner, @bestcee ! Too bad no one around here has specials today lol.

I saw a meme on FB, and reading it again, still makes me giggle!

A perfect day would be a relaxing one, sunshine, warmth, family and friends. Probably hanging out at the shore, relaxing a bit, crabbing at the bay, soaking up the sun, hitting up the boardwalk, and grilling out. Oh, ice cream too! :P

I can't wait for summer!

My favorite date night we do almost every night: cook dinner together and watch Netflix. Okay, that's my second favorite. My most favorite is when we spend the day shopping and take turns going to places we like (Harley store then Joann's, etc.) and we eat somewhere fun.

Back scratching is way up high on my list of thrills since we've been married so long!

We seem to like to work on projects for our dates. :giggle

"Hey, let's get some new plants for the front flower beds!"

"Hey, let's build some shelving for the laundry room!"

"Hey, let's put in a vegetable garden!"

So, by that logic, our perfect date would be a trip to Lowe's, followed by lunch out, followed by several hours of work and at least half a dozen more trips to Lowe's...because no matter how good you *think* your list is...it isn't.

I'm like @scrappyjedi . . . hubby and I enjoy doing projects, mostly related to our home, together. We recently got some new furniture (for free) but it required a lot of moving of older furniture, purging, etc. We were both exhausted but we both said how much we enjoyed spending time together, working out the logistics, decorating, etc.

Lately, our go-to date has been to push our chairs together facing the TV, rent a movie, and order in from a new California Mexican restaurant. We can hold hands, and often after the movie, we'll sit and discuss it . . . then we go down through a bunch of other topics . . . whatever's on our minds.

@dvhoward I was thinking the same thing. I have no idea what a perfect date would be. Frankly, I enjoy many hours by myself at the outlets. I'll think on this.

This is totally us!

We went out to dinner the other night and then went to Tractor Supply to look for some gardening & project supplies that we couldn't find at Lowes.

BUT...I don't know if I would say it's my dream date (although I rather enjoy it!).
I prefer a day long hike in the mountains. 2 of our wedding anniversaries were spent hiking Mt. LeConte. It's about a 11 mile round trip hike up a gorgeous mountain only about an hour from us. If I lived closer to the beach a day trip to the beach might be a close second...with a seafood dinner!

We have a lot of "project dates" as well, although I've been less into the DIY stuff lately. A new kitchen sink and garbage disposal is on the horizon however, so I can see that leading to other things.

We have a date once every six weeks or so because we subscribe to the local community theater, so we go to see a play on a Sunday afternoon. It is nice.

Now that Kennedy's dad is back in the picture he's been taking him on Wednesday afternoons, so Tim & I go out to dinner on Wed evenings now. It isn't really a date, just an excuse for me not to cook. :)

My perfect date would be to a small cafe or lounge somewhere with outdoor seating and live music. Preferably at the beach, but it's been so long since we had a date I'd take it anywhere.

:hi5 Great minds think alike! I saw the subject line & came here to quote Miss Rhode Island! :giggle
