It's some of the highest markup and unless it's a very special sauce, he wonders if they don't cook at all at home as it's so cheap to make. Oh well...to each his own.

I will admit to ordering the mac&cheese in Boston with the lobster. Never again. I love my lobster and I really like mac&cheese but not together. I had to try it to know that.

yes, I am very much like that... for example I can;t believe it also when Sarita gets tuna salad or tuna and cucumber or sweetcorn sandwiches.... we buy 5 tins for £.50.... ONE sandwich costs almost £4 and they don;t even put half a tin!!!!
and is so easy to make at home!!!
I am really sad that super markets and even places like Starbucks and Pret a Manger don't do Coronation Chicken anymore.... I tried making it at home but never came out as nice as the ones I used to buy....

I dream of going to Maine again, I remember eating some absolutely amazing sea food something, like ...chowder maybe? can't remember but I loved the food there...
 
Oh my gosh! I'm the same way with pasta. Now I've figured out how to make some yummy tomato cream sauces with veggies I have little need to try them in restaurants. I won't talk about how annoyed I would be when we went out for dinner and kids would order Mac and cheese and it clearly a box of Kraft Mac/Cheese.

I like going to Chinese restaurants because I don't really cook that at home.
 
Hmm... I prefer fountain soda to cans or bottles.
That's the only one I can really think of, offhand. We have certain brands we stick to because of allergies, more than anything.

Oh, when I used coffee creamer, it had to be sugar free French vanilla flavored. I used a lot of it, too. Now I just drink my coffee black, because I chose to spend the calories elsewhere. Haha
