Is anyone else a fan of Pandora Radio? We got the app on our Iphones and I love playing it through the home theater. So what are your favorite stations?

My faves:
The Avett Brothers
Radiohead
Pixies
Widespread Panic
The Doors
 
I listen all day at work :) I'm scarily addicted to the Jimmy Eat World station :beat
 
Ooo. Pandora is pretty amazing. My mom is an art teacher so she come into school, docks her iPhone and uses it all day in her classroom.

But as for my favorite stations, i would have to say:

Bob Dylan Radio when i'm hanging out around the house
Miles Davis Radio when i'm doing homework
Matisyahu Radio when i'm driving
Frank Sinatra Radio while i'm working
 
I have it on my Blackberry and I listen to it at work, through my Blackberry LOL It has startlingly good acoustics! I have my own station that I've built over time. But it's all angst-filled acoustic singer/songwriters.
 
I love pandora! I have a dock in my kitchen and plug it in when I am cooking dinner. I feel like an old fart for saying this, but my fav stations are: Billy Joel, The Beatles, Barenaked Ladies... mostly those, but I have a ton more saved.
 
I love it, too! I listen to it all the time. Angst filled singer/songwriters here, too.

Now just wait! Listening to the Barenaked Ladies DOES NOT make you an old fart!!!! lol!!! I LOOOOVVVVEEE them... too bad Steve Page left the band... I was hoping to see them in concert again someday. But he is coming to our town in March and will be seeing him there.... okay sorry for the highjack..

What exactly is Pandora? Is it a radio station or what? Can I get it on my iPod touch?
 
I listen to it on my iPhone (with me teeny headphones :)) It's an app, also, you can listen on your computer. Katrina says she can't get it in Canada though....check it out and see :)
 
LOL Renee! Back in the day I saw them in concert at least 20 times. They came to Buffalo a lot! Weeeeee! I still love them!!!

It is like your own personal radio station. You pick a band you like and listen to that station and they play songs by the band plus others that fit in the same genre. No commercials. and it is free unless you go over 40 hours in a week. You should be able to get it as an app, except for the whole Canada issue...
 
it sounds to be a lot like lastfm.com

I am trying it with fever ray radio (a very obscure little group)...
