I don't like to paint my nails unless they are all semi the same length?
What about you?
yeah I am digging deep in issues today!

:tantrumI have to go this route, cause I listened to political talking heads this morning...and:furious I get so mad! lol:giggle

I prefer short as I type alot during the day and anytime I've had long nails I'm bound and determined to break one so I'm a shorty! :)

As for the politics.....stay away from all that for now. It'll drive anyone pure nuts right now! :)

I don't like to paint my nails when any of them are really short either. I have gel nails, though, so they're virtually indestructible and I just have them filled every four weeks.

mine are always short-ish, and the same length - have to cut them all to be even with the shortest one. almost never painted either. :)

My nails grow like weeds, but I prefer them short because I'm typing all day and then at night while scrapping. I can't seem to do typing with longer nails. And, the long nails make navigating on my phone harder too. And... I don't paint them either. Only my toesies.

my nails are almost always painted with gel ... and i usually keep them trimmed fairly short :) just b/c i like to paint them dark colors and i think it looks better when they aren't too long ...

I'm lucky enough to have pretty nice natural nails. They grow fairly easily and don't break often, but when they do it always seems to be all at once. I like pretty bright colors on them so generally choose for them to be all about the same length for that. My problem is waiting for them to dry so I don't paint them as often as I'd like. I just can't NOT be doing anything with them long enough for them to dry.

My nails are so brittle...they just break and bend if they actually grow (which they usually don't) so I just keep them short and go all natural!

I keep mine short too because they tend to break when they get longer. I'd like to keep them polished, but it never lasts long. They always start to chip after a couple of days. I'd like to try those jamberry nails someday.

Mine are all natural and I've never really thought about the lengths - Usually between short and medium - couldn't do long nails and they are never all the same length. They are currently painted sparkly sky blue - nice spring colour!

Mine just break. I hate wearing gloves so I'm pretty hard on them. If and when I get them all to a decent length at the same time.... Rarely... I like to paint them some bright color.

Mine are short because I use a computer for work a lot but I do like to get them a little longer during my Christmas leave so i can paint them pretty colours :D

Short nails for me, all that typing mentioned is a factor. I don't paint them often because I'm lazy and don't want to remove polish and redo when it starts to wear around the edges and flake

Mine are pretty short due to constant breakage. I used to get fake nails. That feels like eons ago. :) I don't really paint mine, but before vacay I had a mani/pedi and it was kind of nice.

I'm excited to try Jamberry. I just placed an order for some yesterday, so it will be interesting to see how they work out.

I prefer it short so that I can type faster.. But I'm vain too, so I love them middle length. I used to have extensions and nail art almost every month. Now I'm financially tight, so I paint it myself

I agree with you Anne, they have to be about the same length to paint them... which is almost never!

mine are medium. they're longer than the tips of my fingers by a bit, but they're not claw-worthy :giggle
i also have to have them all be relatively the same length. if one tears or breaks, i'll cut them all and start over.

i will say, i went through a few years there where my nails were about the last thing i ever thought about. since i've been in real estate, though, it seems to be something i've started to pay much more attention to. Now i quite enjoy doing my nails, when i have the time for it.
