I had an EHD crash and on it were all my photos...I was nauseated for weeks when I would think about it.
I could not get rid of it..it sat mocking me on the shelf
Luckily, I plugged it in and was able to get all the photos off before it whirled out of service.
So here is a public service announcement.

Thanks for the reminder! It's been a couple of months for me. Off to back up today

I really, really need an online back up plan as well. Just can't quite decide as it would have to back up my EHDs and the last time I tried (CrashPlan) it never backed up and I didn't realize it until I needed to restore. Shattered my faith. LOL. So glad it worked for you, Juliette.
