Tis the last day of September (I can't believe it!).

Do you have any plans/goals/things you'd like to accomplish in October?

My October will be mostly campaign stuff, so my only hope is that I don't COMPLETELY say something stupid. :thumbsdowns

I have a 5k next week and I would like to set a PR. I hope to also enjoy the beautiful fall colors and weather.

Ummm...very much the same as my September goals...didn't do so great this month...hoping next month is better.

Honestly the biggest thing is the unpacking and organizing...
I have less than 2 weeks until our next get together here...I seriously want the boxes gone before then.

My plan for October is to try and just get through it! lol! We are heading to Disney in two weeks which means that everything will be utter and total chaos! lol! But we can't wait to make some awesome memories! Watch out since I'll probably be downloading everything Disney from the store! lol!

I am doing the green smoothie a day challenge again...not that it's much of a challenge anymore since I already drink a smoothie a day but still :giggle

Also I would love to get caught up with my PL album this month...although now that I have "said" it out loud I probably wont :dizzy

We are having a huge party at our house on the 19th. Lots of decorations. This is for a previous pastor of our church and his dear wife (who is a very close friend). I am so excited. We are finishing the work we started last thanksgiving! bhahah...
I am painting dining room, our conservatory(bhahah office/ study) and if I have time will do some painting in kitchen.
new drapes, some fall foliage and it will be perfect.
Then my next goal is to collapse and scrap it all!

Let's see.

1 - Plan a rock climbing bday party for Bianca
2- Call my sister on her bday
3- Call my dad on his birthday
4- Make Bianca's halloween costume
5- Make a mini bday party for Bianca's friends that can't come for the rock climbing due to age or physical restrictions.

Same here, Karen, nothing much going on here, either. My plan for Oct is to scrap, scrap, and scrap because I get to be guest starting tomorrow! :) :)

October is major for me since it is Halloween season. Party to plan, yard to decorate, pumpkins to carve, costumes to create, food to prep and then, of course, work.

I just looked at my sept. goals and was surprised to see that I accomplished 2 out of the 3 goals I set!!! Scrapped a ton - check; declutter my kid's playroom - check as I just finished that yesterday! Yeah! The exercise thing...oops. That becomes my Oct. goal. the perpeptual goal that I keep avoiding.... :)

This is the month for my online friend group's second real-life get together. 12 of us are meeting in St Augustine for a long weekend. My goals are getting everything ready to go, getting a white elephant swap gift, getting everyone little gifts and actually getting the office set up for me to be gone for 4 days. Then I have to dig out from under it all when I get back. It will all be worth it!

Oh, and I have to get my 19 year old set up with dinner foods, frozen pizzas and chips to get through it, too!

October is ridiculously busy for us, but my main 2 goals are to walk 2 miles at least 3 times a week and to stick to a tight budget.

Ha! It's my birthday month and I treat birthdays like everyone treats the New Year - a time for resolutions! So, giving up Starbucks and soda again and eating healthier.

I would like to NOT be in a constant state of panic this month... and I want to stick to my DARN SCRAPBOOKING BUDGET just ONCE- I totally went over the top with that again.
I won't even plan to read more, because I already know that I won't manage to do it.
And (brand new): I want to use the kits I keep in my mental "too beautiful to use" file- honestly, it can't be true that I keep NOT using kits because I think: "They are so gorgeous, maybe I'll have prettier pictures next week, and then I have already tainted them with the uglier photos..." SOMEBODY GIVE ME A KICK, PLEASE!!!

I love October! I enjoy getting pics of Halloween decorations (but don't put up any myself) and getting outdoors to get pics of fall color/scenery. It's my birthday, SIL birthday and our anniversary this month so there'll be a few celebrations. I need to get out to shop for a b-day present. I have new cameras/lights to become familiar with so will make sure to take time to practice/play with them. I want to join the PS cloud and download and learn the newer LR and PS programs. I want to make sure I get outdoors with my old retriever so she can enjoy the falling leaves (she collects them and brings them in the house LOL) and I can get some exercise. I also want to create some new menus to try out b/c eating low carb can get boring and I want to keep it interesting.

October will be a month of slowing down and catching my breath....finally!

Oct 5 - Harvest Party
Oct 11 - Grandson's 8th Birthday & Grandparents' Day with my Pre-K Granddaughter
Oct 15 & 17 - Work 12 Hour Days
Oct 16 - Granddaughter's 5th Birthday
Oct 18 - FREE DAY OFF (Haircut, Oil Change)
Oct 19 - @Camp
Oct 20 - DH's BFF Boz's Birthday
Oct 21 - BFF Rachel's Birthday
Oct 26 - Halloween Party
Oct 31 - Halloween

Did I say Slowing Down?!?!?! Doesn't look like it after that schedule! :)

ohhh Robin!!!!!
I wish I was there with you!!!!!!
You need to take lots of pics and scrap!!
I have never been to a conv in Europe, I can imagine how is it like in the US...swoon!!!!
any show in particular? on Broadway?)

I try not put things down as goals, because the pure fact of making the list means I'm less likely to accomplish...don't know why but is prooven to be true.
There is one thing I would like very much and is going back to my normal sleep patterns...
and keep trying to organise my scrapping to not run around like a headless chicken (I wander where that expression comes from? I'm quiet sure a headless chicken wont be able to run? or could it?)
anyway.
yes,
getting organised is one huge priority, together with two operatoions I should have had months ago and now am feeling better I think I'll just go and do it....
