Pad Patter 9/3: Do you decorate for Autumn?

So, I walked into Starbucks this morning and :yesss - Pumpkin Spice Lattes have returned! This, of course, means that Autumn can't be far behind! For me, this means dragging out my fall wreaths and assorted other stuff for my mantels. When it gets closer to Halloween, I also do some front porch decorating. What about you? Do you burn a pumpkin candle and call it good...or go all out?
 
first of all, i love fall!
the candles get switched over and we have a few pumpkins that go around the house. some are metal, some plastic. i'll need to get more. yummy yummy fall!! just little touches to make it more fabulous.
 
I also have some twiggy pumpkins to put in the table if I remember.
 
I love seeing fall decorations in other people's houses, but I rarely do anything for my own house. I decorate for Christmas and that's about it. :)
 
We do fall and Christmas around here. My house has a green/orange/yellow thing goin' so I have some pumpkins out year round. We just stocked up on a whole bunch of new pumpkin candles already so we are set! We'll get out the fall bin from the attic and spread around some pretties, get the fall wreath up on the front door.
 
I will bring out a few fall decorations, but I don't go nuts at any season really. I love fall though! Can't wait to get a few nice Mum plants for my porch!
 
I do believe you ladies have inspired me to get some mums for my hearth...as we won't be having a fire for a while yet...but how cozy some red/orangey mums would look!
and usually, I light a pumpkin candle and call it good....lol
the desert is dusty...so I am very low on decorations that attract the soft sand

i don't go all out, but i do put a pumpkin or two here and there.

and i do decorate for halloween.
 
I am not an UberDecorator typically. The closest I get to embracing a full decorate is during Autumn and the holiday season. I adore Autumn. Love love love it. And since we have lived in locations where we don't *really* experience it I like to focus on it a bit with Autumn scented things and mums, autumn-y colors on the table and a nice wreath on the door.
 
I was just thinking this morning it's time to put up the fall wreath on the front door!
 
I've never decorated for any season before, only for christmas and easter, but when the house is done, I really want to add some seasonal touches in the decor :)
 
I have a fall wreath for the front door, but that is about it till October - then the Halloween decorations come out. I was bad last week and bought the cutest skeleton for our front door at Pier One. Can't wait to hang him up!
 
I'm not much of a decorator at all - our house is small with little room for that. But, I do have a few pumpkin things I set out, I have one set of fall leaves that I put on top of my cabinets. I have 2 candle holders and I will switch to fall scents in my Scentsy warmers. And I have a really cool metal pumpkin that sits outside next to the Boxer statue we have - it's a Boxer dressed up as a boxer for Halloween. :) Got it at Cracker Barrel a few years ago.

I'm hoping we can avoid putting out the huge blowups this year. The kids love those stupid things. My mom got them a Frankenstein's monster, a mummy, and a huge turkey.
 
We may do it this year, we decorate for Halloween but not for fall. Bianca is super artistic and crafty so I may let her just go to town with some scarecrows, I need to find some CHEAP.
 
i do a LOT of halloween decorations - will set that up on october 1st :) for september i am sort-of transitioning out of summer - and put up just a few things (new wreaths) and switch out candle/scentsy scents.
 
Sometimes I change the door hanging. But it currently is still the 4th of July one, so don't hold your breath. :rofl

I once had my "spring" one up for 2 straight years.

Our "Welcome Spring" sign is still on the door!
I finally took down a snowman painting in May!! LOL
 
I decorate a little bit but don't go all out like I used to before kiddos! They are still in the destructive mode so I will put a few things out and save the rest for when they are a bit older!!

We decorate outside though...scarecrows, hay bales, cornstalks, mums, pumpkins, gourds, etc.....
 
Fall is my favorite season because it is so vibrant with color! I luv the cool nights and smell of Autumn leaves in the air. So, yes... I decorate inside and out for the season... I don't crazy with decorations but do enough to make it pretty with Autumn colors. :-)
